I had to go look up the results this morning, since I watched Seven Years In Tibet last night..and it felt like seven years too..seven years I wish I had back.....anyway, wasn't Pam Anderson surprising? I thought so. Not only did she manage not to look like a beat down hooker, but, she actually danced. She moved her feet and cha cha'd the hell out of that song. Surprisingly humble and talented. Then there was Kate. I expected her to suck and she didn't disappoint. Let's be real, she's the only one I really wanted to see. I wanted to see her fall on her ass and I didn't expect to get that thrill. But, she was worse than I thought she'd be. You can watch her HERE. Stiff and self conscious but, with a blustering bravado that she's well known for..her mouth didn't match her feet, if you get my drift. Her dress was odd, pink with bat wings, her hair was a glued on mess. I really expected her to do better than she did.

Have you ever had to dance like that? I mean on stage and follow someone's choreography? If you aren't a professional or a natural dance talent, it's very difficult. It's impossible if you won't let go and Kate will never just let go. She has to be in control of her image at all times. She should have stuck to The View. It wasn't even fun watching the judges rip her, though you could see her seething. Someone's going to get an ass whooping when she goes home.

I almost felt a little sorry for her until I remembered who it was I was looking at hoofing around on the dance floor. And when that hoof couldn't lift itself up as high as it was supposed to, I couldn't hold back the critical HA!
She's blatantly announcing to everyone that she has no talent and is doing this for a paycheck - the judges agreed with her. Heh.
Particularly charming was the one judge describing her as a "shopping cart" - I would like to think she was a bit humiliated by that comment, but doubt it.
I'm looking forward to watching a few more of these shows. Katie can't last more than that.

I loved Pam but she looked like she had had some more plastic surgery done on her face and it didn't look good. I think she had her nose done. The sides of her nostrils looked too high. She really didn't need it.
I loved the comment the judges made about how Kate's partner had to push her around like a shopping cart. I watch DWTS when I remember it's on. I like it. Did you see Buzz practicing? He had a good physique for a mon 80. Hell, it's better than some in their 40's.
Heck, I can't dance to save my own life either but I sure as shit would not go on national television and make a complete horse's ass out of myself. BUT, let's not forget she "did it for the kids". WTF?

Hep C isn't necessarily transmitted through sexual contact, educate yourself.
Pam is unfortunately suffering from Hepatitis C, which is a very heavy duty disease and certainly affects one's stamina. She was great and my husband said she was hot!

You are so correct that it is much harder to do than it may look. When I was in my 20's I worked in muscial theatre shows. The stage was very close to the audience and it took a bit to get over my stage fright and relax. I would have a more sympathy for Kate if she would quit the lying crap about "all for my kids" and obvious non answer put downs of Jon in articles and on TV shows. She intimates that Jon is not paying child support but if that were true why hasn't she petitioned the court about it? He is contracted with TLC again, which means that he is being paid. It can't be good for her kids to hear it.
I had never seen this show before last night--I gave all my votes to Buzz-for an 80 y/o I think he is adorable. He is also such a hero of mine. I'm loving him!!!
i dance, and have for years. did ballroom for 1 1/2 year before my instructor fired me. we actually would have gone off to competition. anyway, kate's dance was step, step, step, pose. transitions were nonexistent, she has no natural grace. she lumbers. she never bent her knees, she was off count, the song was maudlin, the pink dress sentimental, and designed to detract from kate's clunky robotic movement. when she opened up into a front attitude, her partner wasn't there to hold her leg and it looked so, well, it looked gross, dance is beautiful and she made it icky. btw, her feet looked like shit, hands and feet finish movement. it was all uck.
pamela dance was ok. more like walk walk walk, pose. she sexy walks, so it detracts from the fact that she doesn't really dance. was it the cha cha? lots of fast foot work in latin dancing, there was none here. but she does have some grace. and she is naturally charming so that helps. but, as a dancer she sexy walks and hair flings, and that seemed to be enough, got her far in life as it is. there's lots more to dissect, but it's too painful to watch. i never watch this for that reason.
I forgot it was on & turned it on only in time to see the last two couples dance. Pam & kate. What a contrast. Pam was smoking! She lit that place up. She's got nothing to worry about from shopping cart kate, who couldn't even remember to point her toe when she kicked, very basic move & one she would have remembered if she'd actually been practising 8 hours a day as she claimed. I think kate's partner would be better off if he'd have made kate stand still & danced around her. I love that the judges did not hold back.

Kate Gosselin, on the other hand, was definitely the show's attempt to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Her movements were so off, and clumsy. The kicks were actually embarassing. It was uncomfortable to watch. Hopefully she won't last too much longer.

I loved Pam! (and I thought that I didn't like her)...she didn't try to be anyone but herself. She was nervous too, but pulled off a really cute job of it and looked like she was having fun. She's not a great dancer, but she certainly is giving it what she has.

Well, I watched both clips and I wasn't impressed with either dancing. I love Pamela Anderson, I think she's hot (work done and all, but she's still hot) I loved her in Stacked (so light and fluffy, just what I needed to decompress). But honestly her dancing sucked...I didn't see any cha-cha in it, just a walk walk cute thing. The thing that saves her is that she has showmanship. She's a performer and that is something they don't teach you...you're born with it.
Kate's dancing was too amateurish. She could have done better. That's all I will say about it.
