Casper sent me this. It's a good thing, but, I don't use potato peelers. I just wash 'em good. Anyhow, good trick, but, poor old Mary Ann seems to be losing her marbles. She should be preparing "corn."

I think it's much less of a hassle to just peel the damn potato and save myself from washing another pan.

She was always the cute and smart one. I loved that show when I was growing up. A couple of years ago I had the Gilligan's Island theme as my cellphone ring tone. Those were the days. . . I have never thought about peeling potatoes this way, but will try it. Maybe I'll like it better.
