Oh, shut the fuck up
I want to like Bethenny Frankel, I really do....but, this shit is stupid. I need a video to put bottled dressing on bagged salad? Really? All her vids are like this. She is not talented. Suck it. Oh, and bagged salad is fecal matter in plastic. How is she considered a chef? We need her like we need the 1000 vids of how to make Ramen noodles. Look on the package, you fucking retards. I fear for the world. The world is full of the stupid. The stupid need directions to wipe their bums.

We have all these directions on pasta containers. Cook so many minutes, in so much water, etc. You know what it says on the Italian pasta? It says "cook until done".
I'm sorry you don't like the bagged salads. I do use those. I figure I am wasting so much when I buy whole heads of lettuce, etc. Although, really, I could throw all the leftovers out to the birds now. Maybe I will do that.
I know what you're saying about stupid, though. It seems I see it more and more. I don't know if it is a generational thing. It seems like every ten years, or so, the women having babies are different in how they approach that experience. It seems that most of the current crop can't be bothered with taking classes, or learning about what will happen to their bodies. They just want all the perks. They can't be bothered to learn about an epidural, what it is, what the risks are, etc. All they know is they want one. Sometimes they try to sneak cheeseburgers after they have their block, not paying attention to the fact that they could aspirate as they were told by the nurse and the anesthesiologist. Sorry, I got off-topic, but it just seems like people of our generation learned to look out for ourselves, and learn things in life. I don't know of many young women who even cook, or know how to cook. When I was very young, I made our bread. When in junior high, I was putting on dinner for my family who were working the gardens/property. I don't see a lot of that kind of acceptance of responsibility anymore. I frequent a poultry-related website and you wouldn't believe how many people post that they just got chicks but don't know what to do with them, or they ordered a whole bunch of chicks but don't have family close by, and don't know what to do with the eggs they won't be able to eat. It drives me crazy. I'm sorry for the rant, but it has been simmering in me for the last few days.

Stupidity is becoming far too common place. People are celebrating mediocrity. No one seems to be expected to use their brain or even interested in attempting to use it. So many seem to be too dense to remember to breathe never mind anything else. It feels like society is dumbing down & everyone is trying out for the village idiot job.
Just marketing her useless crap to make herself more $$$. Liked her better before she became more famous with her books, naked pics etc. Thet all scream scream waaaayyy too much for me to listen. I had a real hard time watching all of them last week.

Martha had a segment on one of her shows about how to make a proper Caesar salad. with the wooden bowl, anchovies, oil, and making your own dressing in the bowl.
it was a whole process that i did not know about until she showed it. that was a salad segment that wasnt stupid. bethennys is stupid.

What really drives me nuts (and makes me laugh, too) are manufacturers with warnings on their products - like, soap (don't eat) or lawn mowers (keep fingers and toes away from the blades!) or plastic bags (keep away from kids and don't put one over your head.

As my daddy used to say..."too stupid to pour water out of a boot with the directions written on the heel!" That's not really what he said. I cleaned it up a little.
Stupid starts in school. The gov't. is so stuck on test scores, no real teaching is getting done.
They're teaching beginning algebra in 4th grade and the the kids can NOT add or subtract without counting on their fingers. And forget about multipying and dividing! They use a calculator for that. And with the use of computers, they think they don't have to learn anything---everything they need is on the computer or cell phone. They have no pride in accomplishment. My 7th grade class this year is all about "what you're going to give me?". I'm very frustrated and any teacher that tells you everything is going to be OK is lying to you and themselves! People, we are up shit creek and don't have a paddle!
If the gov't. would keep their noses out of it and let teachers do their job, we might get somewhere. But as long as we have to watch everything we say and do so we don't offend anyone, we will have problems. There's no respect for the previlege of getting an education. Hell, there's no respect at all. If we are lucky, we will have a handful of people who will run the world. The rest, I just don't know. I'm thinking Soilent Green for the stupid!

Tenure in our system is longer than that, but I really don't know what the length is now. I never really worried about it. I do know that some of the teachers are coming out of college totally unprepared. We have a lot of teachers that graduated in things like general studies and then took some night courses to become teachers. I don't know the whole story on that. It just makes me mad because I had to do all those hours in observations, student teaching (and I also did a kindergarten practicum) and it seems like these people are just sliding on in. Some of them are very good teachers, but those who aren't are gaining tenure while they are still taking these night courses. It's all screwed up and I wish I could see something good in the future but most of us are just ready to give up. The kids are running the show and the discipline is nonexistent!

All the birds were out early this morning. After my run I walked by a wooded area and could hear Cardinals, saw Blue Jays and a huge Harris hawk. It has been in the 70's and sunny, so I'm happy to see my buddies are getting into Spring schedule.
Big Bend National Park in West Texas has a particularly beautiful flora and fauna. If you can avoid Badgers and six foot+ Rattlers and the occasional group of aliens crossing the border and littering with plastic bottles, plastic bags and opened cans of food left behind like Hansel and Gretel for Border Patrol to follow.

I want to like bagged salad but every time I purchase it, it smells funny..like chemicals and tastes weird also. The last time I got bagged lettuce it made me sick. My stomach felt like it was rotting out. It was the worst stomach ache I've ever experienced. It was definitely contaminated with something, probably poo. ugh.
That bagged salad will make you sicker'n a dog. It's fecally contaminated. Anyhow, I don't think Bethenny is stupid. I think she makes a living off the stupid. Only an idiot could see talent there.
