That's not photo shopped, Darius is just a really big rabbit. He's being held by his six year old friend, Georgia. Darius's owner says he won't reach his full size for six more months, but, he already eats 12 carrots, six apples and two cabbages a day.

Holy bunny pellets!
They say he's gentle..I hope so. Rabbits won't bite, but, they can kick the shit out of you and have sharp claws.
I was given a dwarf rabbit when I was around 9.
My mum took the name to be literal so wasn't very happy when the thing grew & grew. It ate everything in the garden, rose bushes, grass, plants, hedges & the final straw was when it ate it's way through the better part of a bright blue, 15ft by 7 ft, off the ground plastic swimming pool.
Seriously, it managed to eat through its wooden pen, got out & by the time we woke up in the morning 3/4 of the pool was gone.
He was eventually given to a relative who claims he gave it a good home but who my mum thinks just stuck in a pot & had rabbit (& swimming pool?) stew for weeks.
Bloody nuts to to see a rabbit that big.
wow! i love bunnies! my bunny was a mini rex, broken castor. she was beautiful, weighed maybe 5 pounds and lived until she was 10-11 years old. i loved her. my cats didn't bother her, they knew she was family. she worked at peeling the wallpaper off in a room, she must have known i didn't like the wallpaper either... lol
I've never seen such a giant of a rabbit! Never knew they could get that big. Amazing.
Funny how I just love that big fat furball bunny !
Fat delusional cult member ... Not so much !
It must be Monday cuz I do NOT suffer fools gladly !
If I get a better legal team I could unleash more
on the sinos web of malfeasance ! Kiki ;) ;)
He eats better than I do!
I'll keep Sam away from that pic, she flipped when I tried to get her to sit on the bunny's lap @ the mall, then @ brunch yesterday they had an Easter bunny walking around and he didn't get the clue and kept coming by our table and she'd say "nonononononono", even better was when I tried to give her her stuffed bunny at nap time yesterday and she completely freaked and insisted it be out of her room and across the house.
LMAO.
Guess we'll stick to dogs & cats in this house.
I love him! He's gotta be a kids 4-H dream! You know he is a show bunny. He looks magical. I like it. Wow...wonder if they can sell the rabbit crap for fertilizer? Cuz their would be tons of it. What do you do with all that? OMG!

Ever seen "Watership Down" the animated drama? Its not for kids. Or read the book? It's some serious vicious sh**. Rabbits can & are mean & strong. They rule their kingdoms with a lot of strength. I hope this one is nice, why should he be mean? Who's gonna mess with him?

That's one huge rabbit!
Remember that sci-fi movie back in the 60's? "Night of the Lepus"?
Giant rabbits attack humanity.
Heh.
WOW! That is one big bunny wabbit!
He's very cute, and it would be interesting to see him in person, just to get your own perspective on size.
We raised rabbits for our own consumption for many years. They were really good, but we had favorites, and it was tough when they were "processed".
I was allowed to have a little black and white bunny (some sort of Dutch dwarf, I think) whose name was PeeWee. She came to me already named, as she had been a show bunny for a year or two. She was very sweet, but not above nipping if she wanted something.
Wow, this is really a huge rabbit...
How do you house such a big rabbit?
Did you custom build your own rabbit hutch for him?
It's probably a Flemish Giant, which can weigh 20 lb or more. There are several "giant" rabbit breeds.
Pat, this has nothing to do with the big rabbit, but . . . your mention of the BenGil Elementary School project got me hooked on voting for it at Pepsi's Refresh Everything site. They're doing it again this month. Could you remind your readers to vote? Or put up the widget on your site? http://www.refresheverything.com/bengilelementary
I got 2 chicks for Easter when I was about 4. They stayed out in the back yard. Their names were Rufus and Susie. Only "Susie" turned out to be a rooster and woke us up at dawn every morning crowing and Rufus would peck at your feet the whole time you were in the yard. We eventually ate them for dinner.
