Part of me wants to find the rest of this Oprah show on Octo, but, I can't take the noise and confusuion. I have a real problem with noise and I feel so damn sorry for those kids who have to live in this 24/7 with no escape. It would turn me into a serial killer and I'm not even joking.

oh my that's not a house. That is a 24hr daycare facility or a orphanage. How could anyone of them get any one on one attention? Plus how old is that little girl in that video? She is to old for a nookie. I hate seeing kids beyond that age of 1 sucking on a pacifiers.
LOL! Serial killer!!! I get you! gawd, it would at least make me the crazy kid at school! When they are all teens, watch out! We are gonna be seeing some mug shots! They may even go "Menendez" on her!

Who could blame them? That's not even close to normal.
I tried to watch Oprah yesterday, just to get an idea of how crazy OctoMom really is and what the situation is for all those kids.
Honest to god - I don't know how she does it. I had one kid and was worn out. She's either going to be institutionalized in the next few years or she really will get those kids raised in spite of the media tornado they're in.
She came across as very definite about what she wants (and considering that she's going for her Phd, she's not dumb) - she's determined not to go the reality show route and sounds like she really means it. Time will tell.
One of the oddest things (to me) about the interview?
How does she manage to see with those 12" fake EYELASHES?!
You'd think that the kids would be grabbing those suckers right off her eyeballs.
I am one of the few who actually likes Nayda. Ya she has too many children and she should not have had the 8 babies without thinking; however, at least she is not selling them to TLC for money like Kate. I do believe that Nayda does really love her children and is trying to support them the best she can, unlike Gosselin.
What I do not understand is the criticism that Nayda gets, but that the Gosselins and that money hungry couple the Stansels (who purposely got pregnant with sextuplets for a tv show and whose 4 babies dies after birth and the other 2 are severly disabled) are free from mass controversy.
I was thinking the same thing when I saw that clip. I have one 18 month old and its hard enough. I could not imagine two or three or 14.

I don't hate Octo, I don't even think she's a bad mom. I just don't know how a child can be anything but maladjusted with that constant din and confusion. I wouldn't survive it.
I know exactly what you mean about noise,DD. I can't stand it if someone has a TV or radio too loud. I've gotten very sensitive as I've gotten older.
I've always thought Nadya was very intelligent, other than her laugh, she is pretty likable. She would make a much better talk show host than Kate, yet she is TLC's golden girl. Don't get it, other than her looks, she has nothing.
I can't imagine any of the kids getting the emotioinal support that a child needs from a mom. There just isn't enough time in the day to pay attention the way a mother should when there are 14 of them. The 3 year old twins seem like they are alot to handle on their own. Nadya mentioned that the oldest 8 year old boy is tougher to handle than all of the rest of the kids. He is probably dying for attention.
Two of her boys are a little scary, they have some problems and two of her kids have autisim. I just wish she had one insulated "no talking" room with a good door. Where do they go for some peace??? Poor kids.
Bored....do you follow Amanda Stansels blog? She's only posting once a week now that the 2 surviving babies are home. Those 2 idiot parents went on vacation 2 times while those babies were critically ill in the NICU. If you want some really snarky entertainment goggle Stansel sextuplets and the Survivor blogsite has a thread on the Stansels. It usually comes up 2nd or 3rd on the google page.
I feel sorry for that little baby being stomped by his big sister. Obviously you can't leave them alone together, and that little girl has some issues that are not being dealt with. That's what I worry about with her situation. Those kids can not be getting what they need, emotionally.
I know what you are saying about noise. The older I get, the less tolerant I am of noise. There are actually times that I turn off the music in the car, and just enjoy the silence. That never used to happen.
The Stansels make me puke. They got what they deserve, but, the kids didn't.
I can't listen to music in a car, it's too much and I get sick. I hate riding with anyone because it sounds dumb.

What kind of crazy goes on vacation with 2 sick babies in the hospital? I did not hear that, but I will go googling now. I do remember the story when it came out about them expecting sextuplets and I was disgusted, especially with the reality show comments.
DD, I agree. I feel sorry for those babies who have two fucked up fame whore parents. What a shame. I am wondering when the Stansels will be announcing another high multiple pregnancy.
