HERE is a report from a guy who claims he has inside knowledge of the US Governments involvement in a secret operation that dealt with alien beings living secretly in America in the 1980's. Well, one alien being anyhow. He says Jimmy Carter let the alien leave, but, that there's some proof of the incident and that aliens, who look like humans, still live here and occupy positions in our government.*
Well, our government is farked up if you ask me, they're welcome to it..but, last I heard, abducting a woman without her permission is illegal. So that alien should have done some time. Jimmy Carter has some 'splainin' to do.

Well, it took me awhile to respond because I'm not as fast a reader as I used to be. That was a really interesting article! I read the whole thing, though there was another link or two that I have not investigated, yet.
I can believe this. I don't have any kind of alien abduction in my past, that I am aware of, but I have always wondered if at least some of the accounts are true. I can easily believe that there has been contact, and I do believe that there really was an alien craft that crashed at Roswell. What I also believe is that what we know is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.
Seriously, General Ramey (who covered up and discredited Jessie Marcel?, I think the name was, was not that prominent a figure in the armed forces, but yet there is an airbase named for him??? (Weather balloon, my ass!)
It makes more sense that there is other life throughout space. The likelihood that other planets are able to support whatever evolved there, makes more sense, than thinking the entirety of space is barren except for us. I also believe that some of those races are likely to be benevolent and some are likely to be quite bloodthirsty, or think that we would be tasty.
I can see why that creature would be released even though it abducted a woman. We are talking way beyond international relations, here, and how would any court, etc. have handled this without creating a huge governmental snafu, and possibly rioting, looting, the breakdown of society if the general population got any inkling that an alien life form that looked human, abducted a human woman. Think of the KKK trying to configure a response to that. Think of the guys who are sure their neighbor who has a bigger house, nicer car, etc. or is just different. I'm sure a number of innocent people could be killed for just such differences owing to someone thinking that they are different enough, they might be alien.
Just watched a really interesting alien-type movie last night. "District 9"---very bloody and violent, but interesting, and a different take on alien-type movies. The humans are much more violent than the aliens, and it's really sad what we do to them. It's also interesting that it's set in South Africa, instead of USA, Canada, etc. If you can get past the violence, blood, etc. it is worth watching.
Anyway, thanks Pat, for posting this here. I read everything my library system had to offer about aliens/abductions/etc. 15 years ago. Interesting to read something new, and this detailed.
Stephen Hawking's recently stated that in his mathematical mind there is no reason to not think there is other life out there. But he did say that if they are looking to come here we should remember what happened to the Native Americans when Columbus landed here---their land was eventually taken over. Instinct is to discover and conquer! Something to think about!

I think our government does a lot of things under the heading of "security", and we don't know the half of it. Much less than that, actually. As I mentioned in a previous post, (a long time ago), my family's phone was tapped----when I was a teenager, actually. I was home and watching when a repairman removed the bug from the receiver. What I didn't know at the time, was that the repairman cornered my mom and asked her why that would have been in our phone.
If the government could do that to a poor little family living on a tiny farm, I really can't imagine where their limits are. I think that other life forms exist, on other planets, or as Stephen Hawking suggested, in the space between. I do not believe we are alone. I also believe that if our government knows of visitation by any such entities, this is how they might handle it. I don't know if the account is true, or not, but I believe there is the chance it might be.
Speaking of Oceans; I like the idea of pumping-up deep, cold water filled with minerals from the ocean depths of 5,000 + feet, and desalinating for consumption.
I read about deep water currents that have great concentrations of nutritional elements for humans.
Pat; have you looked up chia seeds yet?-I like them so far after about a year. Brain food loaded with Omega oils, and so cheap!-I get mine from nutsonline.
I'm taking the day off to read and listen to music--Maybe make a pound cake with real butter and nutella topping.

I found several studies noting the high Omega fatty acids content in the seeds. Higher than Salmon even. Specific data on the benefits to the brain are also listed. I googled "Chia seed and brain food"- not to mention that I have been taking them for a while and really like them. I put them on everything now.
This is my latest snack; spinach, hummus, avocado, chicken breast pieces and chia seeds with a couple of serrano peppers and a bit of lemon juice.-delicious and easy to make.

I read it all and I can't say that it's impossible. My whole family saw a HUGE UFO in the 60's so I have always believed.
I saw a new documentary on the Apollo 11 Moon missions a few months ago. Several astronauts have broken a long silence on the reporting of UFOs. The documentary featured Buzz Aldrin stating without reservation that the Astronauts saw a UFO that paced them for a time during their journey to the Moon.
He said that this information was kept secret by NASA for all of these years. The documentary shows a short piece of UFO footage taken from "later" NASA missions, but says that the object is similar to what the three Astronauts of Apollo 11 saw.
There have been a number of images, both still and moving of the Astronauts on the Moon, and other NASA missions which seem to show UFOs, and as we know Astronaut Gordon Cooper was open about seeing unknowns on numerous occasions.
"For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists in astronautics. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us. And there are thousands of witness reports and a quantity of documents to prove this, but nobody wants to make them public."
In December 1965, Gemini astronauts James Lovell and Frank Borman also saw a UFO during their second orbit of their record-breaking 14 day flight. Borman reported that he saw an unidentified spacecraft some distance from their capsule. Gemini Control, at Cape Kennedy told him that he was seeing the final stage of their own Titan booster rocket. Borman confirmed that he could see the booster rocket all right, but that he could also see something completely different.
When I was a kid, about 10 or 11yrs old, my family was in the station wagon with my Dad driving and my Mom in the front passenger seat. My older brother & sister were in the back seats and my younger brother and me were in the way back seats.
It was DAYLIGHT, about 4PM and we were at a red light. All of a sudden this IMMENSE silver disc floated directly in front and above us in the sky. It made absolutely no sound. It then floating down closer so that it was hovering directly in front of my Mom in the front passenger seat. It stayed there for more than 2 minutes. It did something to delay or inactivate the red light from changing to green. My Mother was waving to "it" and my sister started crying and told her not to and that she was scared. I was scared too but more amazed and facinated then I was afraid. All of a sudden the HUGE spaceship zoomed without any sound upward and in less than 2 seconds there was absolutely no visual trace of it.
When I was a teenager I used to tell my boyfriends about seeing this UFO and none of them believed me. In the 90's when my family was having a reunion I brought it up. Everyone in my family remembered it like it was yesterday, except for my older sister. She is adamant to this day that it never happened. Both of parents had full recall and both my brothers. I've always wondered why she repressed the memory? The daytime siteing is what I think is so unsual because in the past 25 yrs all I have ever heard about are seeing UFO's at night.
all this and we still used outdated shuttles for missions ..I'm not buying it.
