This is amazing..Sandra has been in hiding since the scandal broke and paps have failed to figure out where she is, let alone get photos of her "grief". Now she's revealed to People Mag that she has a baby boy, adopted from New Orleans and has had him since January! His name is Louis Bardo Bullock, oh, and she's filed for divorce. Geeeez, who says you can't keep a secret in Hollywood?!

she was so close to his kids, especially the little girl Sunny....i wonder how sunny is doing with their split....since sandra went to bat for sunny in court, it would be nice if sandra stayed in touch with her....

Miss Tia, rumor was that Sunny's mom was even encouraging Sandra to be the primary parental figure in her life and that Sandra was considering fighting for partial or full custody.
This all just makes me want to say "good for you!" in some corny way, I can imagine other celebs backing out of the adoption, sending the child back. I also applaud her for adopting a child from the US, especially from New Orleans! People seem to forget about all the orphans here.

Inspired by The Blind Side? I love this little guy! I do not believe she should stay in contact with Jesse's kids at all, at least not right now. Why? Because that continues her being somewhat, marginally involved with his life. It almost makes the kids choose sides in this situation, and thats never a good thing for kids. She has this new baby and will raise him alone now. Jesse has surrenderd all legal rights to this child. Sooo...I am pretty much guessing he wont be invited to any of his b'day parties! Sandra should cut the cord too. If any of his kids are of legal age and they wish to see her they can do that w/o his involvement or permission. Sandy will do whats right, if she feels like staying in those kids lives, she will do it and she will do it appropriately. Just keep Jesse out of it!! He's gross. Good riddence. Love Sandra!!!

I'm so happy for sandy. What a blessing this little guy is to her. She always wanted children and loves them dearly. How wonderful for her to become a mother.
If she follows through on being the kind of person she seems to be, she will continue her relationship with Sunny if she is allowed.

I am glad you wrote what you wrote in regards to Sandra cutting the cord with her step-children.
It made me feel better because that was what I did when I got my divorce. I love my ex's daughter very much, but felt that by continuing in her life I was putting her in an untenable position (he was already using her to try and manipulate me - it wasn't an amicable divorce).
Sometimes I have wondered if I made the right decision. Hearing someone state what I thought when I made the decision makes me feel a wee bit better.

I just read a news article that said that she plans to try and co-parent the other children with him, and that she hopes that he is the kind of father to this baby that he has been to his other children. So, it sounds like she is proceeding with the divorce, but is going to try to keep the family going for those children. The article listed the oldest of his children as 15, I think.
What a cute baby. Baby smell is awesome. Sandra will hopefully give this baby a loving home and every opportunity to excel in life.

When I heard this story on the morning show today, I let out a big ol' "Way to go Sandy!". She deserves every ounce of happiness and joy this little man will bring into her life.
But that she wants to stay part of her step-kids' lives is no surprise to me. She's one of those people that once you become part of her life, you stay a part of her life - unless you f*uck it up like Jesse did. Truly his loss.

I also agree that Sandra should cut ties with her step children. She needs to focus on her new baby and trying to get her life back (emotionally etc). If she still sees these children, then Sandra might never fully heal. It may sound cold but, she is not their biological mother and it is ok if she does choose to walk away.
I am impressed with Sandra, that unlike other celebrities (Madonna) she did not use her adoption to gather media attention and turn it into a publicity circus. It took her over 4 years to be able to adopt a baby and she did not use her fame to jump ahead of the adoption line **cough** Madonna and Brangelina. This also goes to show the public, that if celebrities choose to keep their private lives quiet, they can.

A friend told me a long time ago that when her youngest son was little and he needed comforting, he would go to her and say "love me, hug me, kiss me, smell me". I don't know why that made such an impact on me. I just thought it was so childlike and innocent. Now when I see a cuddly child (like Gabe), I always think of that!

I could never see her with that shank of a man. He conned her into thinking he was a good guy. At least she had enough backbone to NOT do the "stand by your (cheatin')man" crap.
