Ava's Mommy, I think Jon's holding something over Kate's head - meaning I think there's been something going on that he's been allowing her to do and he's just evening out the scoreboard. (The scoreboard that is their kids' lives, mind you.) And i don't think it's just the filming. JMO.
Anyway, the kids probably think the girlfriend is just another nanny on summer break from school.
