The mother — a friend of Lee Deitrick — left her then-19-month-old at Deitrick’s W. Main Street home, in Louisville, for a few hours on Nov. 7 while she visited a friend in the hospital. When she came back to collect her child she found the baby had been tattooed by Lee Michael Deirtick, because you know, he's such an "artist." One of the child’s relatives, 17-year-old Brandi Nelson, held the girl across her lap, while he tatted an "A'' on the baby's rear end...because her name starts with "A." County prosecutors maintain the tattooing caused the girl serious, permanent disfigurement and involved sharp and or prolonged pain. Deitrick's lawyer said, "There was no malice, more like an error in judgement."*
An error in judgement?? Are you fucking kidding me? Deitrick faces up to 13 years in prison as soon as he serves a previous sentence for another crime. Yeah, and the kid faces a lifetime of explaining to people why she has that lame tattoo on her ass. Meanwhile the mom is probably looking for a new babysitter, preferably one who doesn't get shitfaced and tattoo babies.

OMG! An "A" on her ass! Niiice. He hopefully will do plenty of time for this. I hope someone can fix the damage done to her precious soft little butt. There's nothing sweeter than baby's butt. How dare he!!!
I also like that little part at the base of a baby's neck in the back. It's the sweetest thing. Tiny baby neck. I love babies and this disturbs me. I'm sure she screamed. Did they gag her so no one would hear and call the cops? You know it bled. He needs shot.
He and the girl that held that baby down need "A's" forever tatooed on their foreheads.

This is what happens when the state refuses or is unable to educate it's citizens-- the lowest common denominator wins out,and kids are influenced by the easiest to understand form of information, in this case cable tv. This tatoo a baby story sounds like a "jackass" stunt, or a story line from "southpark."
There is a reason we should insist our children understand algebra and critical thinking,and it isn't just to compete financially with India.

I find it difficult to grasp why anyone would think to do this. What was going through this guy's head? Did he really think that anyone would applaud his idea of tattooing a baby's behind? Stupidest babysitter ever.
