That's Kim's son, Aaron and their cat, Sweetie. I think they're both sweet. Next is Angel. Angel is 8 feet long! I like snakes, but, Angel eats the things I keep as pets..lol. Next we have their pet Tarantula. Interesting. No one can accuse you of being boring, that's for sure!

Aww Sweetie she is siamese right? She is really pretty. I like the snake to. But spiders and me ewww.. I have such a huge phobia with them.
I love the picture with your son and kitty! That is so cute. My husband does not yet know of my plans to get kitties this year. I can hardly wait.
The snake and spider, uh, no. Sorry, but no. I have never liked either, and have mostly given in to my phobias.
Yes, Sweetie is a long-haired Siamese; I got her from a breeder who got her from another breeder where she grew up in a 2'x2' CAGE! The breeder I got her from bred her once and she almost died; had to have a hysterectomy so then she was useless as a money-making tool. That's how I came to have her; she was scared to death of everything and everyone--especially men, which is why I treasure this photo; after a year of patience and love, she finally allows my son to touch/hold her. She didn't even know how to run when we got her; she just kind of staggered along--breaks my heart to think of the many breeders who do this to their animals. I still cry thinking of how she was, but we have helped her become the cat she should have been, we love her dearly and she will NEVER be abused again!
kim - Aaron, Sweetie & even Angel (great name for a snake!) are darling -- The tarantula as DD sid IS interesting. I have never seen one before--bigger than I thought it would be. How does Aaron feed him and what does it eat?
I was the biggest arachnophobe on the planet, I think--my then 14-year-old son went to our local pet store, bought me a tarantula + setup and then said, "Here--it's YOURS. You have to face your fears, Mom--like you always told me". I couldn't let it die of neglect but it did take me about 6 months before I could walk by her tank without getting the willies! 7 years later, this is my third tarantula, and she is a Brazilian Salmon-Pink Birdeater--YES they eat birds and rats--she will be about 10" across by next Halloween. Whew! When I first got her this past Halloween, she was smaller than the nail on my pinkie! I needed my reading glasses to see her; she eats a cricket (or 2) every day and sheds every 3 weeks or so. I promise, if I can get over my fear, anybody can! :-) Just takes Xanax!! LOL
Nancy--Aaron NEVER touches her! It's all me, which is hilarious because he told me the other day that he regretted my love of spiders ; now he's sorry he got me that first one (they creep him out). LOL
Awwww, that's a purdy puttertat...makes me think of our simon....those fucking greedy breeders need to suffer the same fate their animals do see how THEY like it.
That's a cool looking snake. Would eat my cats tho. I'll pass on the tarantula too! lol!
Sweetie is adorable! She reminds me of my cat, Pandora. Pandora died a few a years ago and I miss her. Seeing a cat who looks like her makes me smile. :) I love cats.
I like your cat!
