Amazing, heart warming film

This is the moment eight-month-old Jonathan, who was born deaf, got cochlear implants put into his ears, and heard his mother's voice for the first time. OMG, that is so sweet.

What a beautiful moment. His reaction to his mom's voice is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen.

very sweet, adorable baby. Interesting tho his reaction. I've seen other videos of kids that hear for the first time and it scares the crap out of them. They have no idea what is happening.

The news report I saw said that the little boy could hear until he lost his hearing at 4 months to a bout of bacterial meningitis. Maybe that is why it didn't scare him to hear his mother.

Also, this video is about two years old now. They showed a recent photo of the boy and he is still a real cutie and doing great!
