It works like one of those old Chinese finger cuff puzzles. Sharp blades imbed in the penis during penetration and they won't come out. The problem is, if you get your rapist with one of these, well, you've still been raped, haven't you? And I'm sure they don't come in infant size. Sadly, they need it. It's better than nothing.

'splain please. & hell, what happens when the guy realizes what has just happened? Will he kill you in a fit of rage & pain? I hope a woman can run away once the guy is down. Does it require a Dr to remove? If so, then police reports will be made. Hope it helps them out. Aids is still a huge problem over there because of the men.

My hubby and I saw this on the news this morning . Hubby said the same thing about the guy just killing the woman after the deed was done . But the dr who was talking about this thing also said that the pain was so great from it that the guy would not be able to walk . And that it could only be removed by a dr . So my thoughts were ....hmmmm ....would a guy really be willing to risk this ? And rape is not limited to the vagina . So then what ? Maybe iron chastity belts are the answer :/ ???

Unfortunately, women are disposable commodities, and rape a an instrument of war in too many cultures. And then there is the myth circulating in Africa that sex with a virgin will cure Aids..therefore females are at risk of death from birth to death.
And yes, vaginal rape is not the only problem..Perhaps sharpened machetes should be issued to women, with immunity from prosecution for using them.

It is disgusting and horrible there. I read about infant rape years ago and it turned my stomach and I could not sleep for days. Men with HIV will steal infants/toddlers some as young as a week old and rape them because they think that if they rape a virgin they will not have AIDS anymore. But that is not the only reason.People like this are just plain evil.
I believe that most of the men/boys in Africa are terrible and pathetic scumbags that deserve to be slaughtered.
I think this is an inventive idea - anything to discourage rape is generally a good thing, but seeing how this condom works (it's just like an anaconda's bite action - the teeth can't be gotten away from due to the reverse pull once they're embedded).
Any rapist who finds himself with this embedded on his dick would, I think, be more likely to kill the woman involved - purely out of pain and rage and revenge.
I'm scared of Baboons. Something about their teeth, strength and freakishly aggressive nature always gave me concern when I saw one.

Yes Melissa, Baboons are the things that I see in my nightmares. I saw one do a mock charge at a rival male and it was pure evil.
As a practical matter of survival it's as good as it gets; attack the genitals, eyes, and hands first. Remember the lady that got attacked by the chimp?, put all that on a creature three times the chimp's size and desire to survive. I'd walk an extra mile to avoid one in the bush.
A lot of those rapes have to be tribal related. They rape competing tribes' women as custom also. Don't they kidnap their wives in a ritual?-

I'm hoping the pain would be so intense the victim would have time to escape while the rapist is bewildered by shock and agony. In my fantasy, the perps would be photographed in their painful, humiliated state and those images would be plastered everywhere.
