Banana shaped egg?

Some chicken farmer in China displays a "rare" banana shaped egg he found. Hrrrmf. That is NOT banana shaped. We all know what it's shaped like, so stop dinking us. I like the way they hold up a normal egg for comparison, like we've never seen an egg before. Eggs are sometimes mishappen and that egg says to me that the poor hen was probably injured. Her egg place inside didn't have room for the egg to develop. The bullshitter's also said they found a hen who layed 14 full sized eggs in one day and I call BS. Eggs don't just appear, they take quite awhile to grow and develop and I've never seen a hen that could hold 14 eggs. We'll ask our resident chicken expert here. What do you think?

Ooooo...I wince for that poor chicken.

But you know that the dick-egg will be sold to some old, rich Asian dude who's convinced that eating it will give him a forever boner.

He'd be better off putting it in his pants.

ROFL!!! You guys crack me up!!!
The egg cycle is usually 24 to 26 hours. So, generally hens lay about an egg a day if they are prolific layers. Occasionally you might get a second egg in one day from a hen, but usually only when they are starting to lay, and their egg-laying machinery is working out the kinks. If they found 14 eggs from one hen, she had been squirreling them away in a secret nest, trying to get a clutch going so she could hatch babies. They were accumulated over a week or two, and in reality they probably were not just from one hen---others probably contributed a few eggs, as well.
Weird looking egg. I haven't had any that look anything like that, but I have had one little fart egg. It was about 1/3 to 1/4 the size of a normal egg. I've seen pictures of the really tiny ones that are just a little bigger than a dime, though.
That egg is a bizarre shape, and most likely resulting from some genetic or chemical issue. Occasionally there is a hen that just does have trouble laying eggs. Having fertility issues myself, I sympathize with them.

Thanks! I thought that was BS, I had hens that layed twice a day and I thought that was awesome. They claim she wasn't nesting and they saw her lay 14 eggs. Bullshitski.

That poor little chicken must have had some really bad cramps! I feel so sorry for her. Is there anything like Midol for chickens?

I really don't know much about chickens.
