It's pretty hard for me to have any sympathy for a San Antonio man, Adrian Rendon who got trapped in his burning car and is now in critical condition. The fire started because he was carrying a sloshing can of gas IN THE PASSENGER seat of his El Dorado and lit a cigarette. Seriously????? These people are all over our world and considered normal. This reminds of my neighbors who start every sentance with "By god, I'll tell yew whut!" No, mofo, I'll tell you what, let me get that gas can to the car for you..need a lighter?

Idiot on fire
It's pretty hard for me to have any sympathy for a San Antonio man, Adrian Rendon who got trapped in his burning car and is now in critical condition. The fire started because he was carrying a sloshing can of gas IN THE PASSENGER seat of his El Dorado and lit a cigarette. Seriously????? These people are all over our world and considered normal. This reminds of my neighbors who start every sentance with "By god, I'll tell yew whut!" No, mofo, I'll tell you what, let me get that gas can to the car for you..need a lighter?

Maybe this is just natural selection at work. Let nature take it's course and plug the plug.
They always say "by god, I'll tell yew whut!" Then they don't say anything. It's so ignorant.
I feel badly for him. He just didn't think or didn't know. Sadly, there are probably a lot of people who do things similarly. I'm just thinking back over all the years I've been a nurse, and how many people I've seen on oxygen, and smoking. That is a lit fuse, as well.

I have a friend who starts a lot of sentences like that! I always know she's going to say something stupid when she does it. Maybe I should probe to see if her parents come from Guntown.

Christina, seriously? People don't know gas is flamable???? I've seen smokers hooked to oxygen. I just get the hell out.
Several years ago, when restaurant smoking was still legal in PA, eight of us were seated in the smoking section at a Cracker Barrel (at least 5 were smoking). In comes little old lady dragging her oxygen tank. She and two family members were seated eight feet away from us. Noticed one of her group was smoking! I called over the manager and asked to have them moved to the nonsmoking section. It's one thing if I kill myself with my smoking, but I don't want to be blown up because of some one else's smoking. The manager went to talk to them & they moved to nonsmoking. Guess the manager didn't want the restaurant blowing up either.
I was sitting in my car in a hospital parking lot once when I saw this guy with an oxygen tank walk out of the hospital with a nurse. As soon as the nurse left he lit up a cigarette. WTF?
I had a patient once that was in our hospital because he had third degree burns in his nose.
Yup, on oxygen and lit up a cigarette. He was a 'famous' local sportscaster, but he was one MEAN patient..........
You all are just heartless and insensitive people! Do you really think people deserve to suffer b/c they make a mistake? Really come on people he is a human being!
