NYC reunion thoughts

I had to watch it twice before I was ready to comment about it. In the second viewing you see things you missed, like venomous looks indicating when someone is caught in a lie and also obnoxious shoes. Those green CL's Jill had on were clunky and blinded me. She has huge boats and should knock off with the platforms. Also the masking tape stuck to the red soles kind of hid the whole point of a CL. Bethanney's hot pink ones were smaller but, not much more attractive. Kelly had on big fug flesh colored gladiators..just what I expected from her since she's best friends with Gweneth Paltrow..cough.

The main event was the Jill/Bethenny fight resolution..and there wasn't one. Poor Andy was out of his depth there. We all were in a way. I did find out the show is less scripted than I thought. Not that I think there's a script exactly, but, I figured Bravo set up the situations and maybe some of the drama. Now, I'm more inclined to think the women themselves do that and Bravo just follows them around.

Bethenny has this quality I admire..even when she's really pissed off, she has the ability to spit out the facts and the reasons. Jill did some horrible things that can't be forgiven and I'm not talking about being mean to Bethenny over her absence during Bobby's illness. Jill has revealed herself to be a truly mean girl and Bethenny seems done with her. Jill practically begged on her knees this time and cried and I felt bad for her. I think part of her really is sorry for the things she did. But, part of her is just ruined by the fame and she will do those things again. It's clear the public has turned against Jill and that's mostly why she's sorry. She hates bad press. She hates bad press a lot more than what she did to Bethenny. Some people just wipe you out with their game playing and emotional turmoil. They just exhaust you. Jill is one of those people. I don't think she will ever get what she wants. Bethenny sees her pain, but, sees past it to the icky parts which are still there. Jill is a viper in disguise of a nice Long Island girl. Her mask has slipped and you can't undo that.

Here's my take on them now..

Bethenny..clearly the brightest, this chick is smart with a capitol S. Has a tendency to over talk everything due to years of therapy. Had a rough childhood, rarely whines about it, but, relates it to who she is. Not the richest housewife, but, most successful of all the housewives in her own right. Best sense of humor, killer one liners. Quick and snappy, least likely to be fake.

Alex.. a social climber with ridiculous society dreams, but her (and Simon's) social climbing is funny rather than irritating. They don't hurt anyone and are decent people. Alex is loyal and has finally found her balls this season. She is no longer a doormat. She is also very pretty sometimes, and I love that she called Jill out on calling her ugly. She's not.

Jill, attractive and spoiled, rich and excessive. The one who fell into the fame hole and can't get out. She will step on anyone to remain in the press. Tendency to lie, talk behind backs, set up situations to make someone look bad because she's mad at them. She's dangerous and wears a mask of friendly. She's not as smart as she thinks she is.

Kelly..might be functionally mentally retarded. Used to be hot, now is the most unattractive of the bunch, doesn't realize she isn't all that anymore. Uses hoplessly out of date phrases that are embarassing. Is mentally unstable and uninteresting. They should take her off this show before she hurts herself. We've already seen a real mental breakdown from her. She pretends to be nice, but, she's full of misplaced venom and needs mental help. She is not entertaining.

CountLess LuAnn..good looking, but, manish. Two faced, gossipy slutty rich assed manner wench. She's better than everyone else. She's too self absorbed to cause much damage...she's no one's friend though. She should keep her day job, which is spending huge wads of rich old man money, instead of her ridiculous new synthesised singing career.

Ramona..Ramonacoaster..crazy eyes, too much money, but, she is generous. The party girl of the group, genuinely fun, loves to drink her wine..by the gallon. I think she's drunk most of the time. Says inappropriate insulting things a lot...always apologises. Genuinely pretty, claims to design jewelry. Interesting that her old man has a family jewelry business. That helps, eh? Claims to be a business woman..I've seen no evidence. Best phrase this season.."Turtle time!"

Sonja..the new girl with the old money. Seems loyal and stays neutral, yet remains interesting. Loves sex, willing to talk about it at the drop of a hat. Has a psychic on duty as well as a maid. Real money here, but, she seems to have fun with it and isn't obnoxious about it. She's attractive and has started to stand up for herself against the vipers. She should just get more interesting next season.

Jennifer the party planner should be mentioned..she was a new introduction, but, unlike Sonja she did not ingratiate herself into our hearts and has been dumped. Too bad Jennifer..for you..I thought you were a totally boring two faced bitch and I hated the fact that you seemed stupid. Yes, everyone has an asshole and I stopped using that phrase in 1976. We already have an idiot here and she's called Kelly.
