Honest to frick, I am sick of stupid people. It's usually special ed city workers who paint over Banksy's work and the city cries. Seriously, who doesn't know who Banksy is?? Even if you're a hillbilly with no internet, you know who this dude is. And if by some slim chance you don't, how does his work not improve the looks of your dumb building covered in dime store mirrors? I am so sick of this ignorant shit. Like, go rent a masonry saw, contact Southeby's and collect your frickin' million bucks, retards. OR stand in front of your dump and shoot yourself in the head with a 12 gage..you can call it a Pollack and use it as a tombstone. Fuck me.

I've never heard of this grafitti artist (and really, I don't live under a rock or anything) - but explain, please.
The pic you posted - what part did he (or didn't he) do? The pic frames or the Oz art (Dorothy/Lion)?

Okay, I have never heard of Banksy, either. I like the illustration, and if it was my place, I wouldn't paint over it, but I wouldn't know who it was by or that it was worth anything.
I would be tempted, once I knew what it was, to saw it out and sell it, though. It would seem wasteful to leave it outside where it would weather. Better to preserve it, I guess.
I think you're overestimating this guys's notoriety. Plus graffiti artists are all obnoxious.
I guess I am. But, the fucker is in my face almost everyday on some news site or other. Angie and Brad collect his work. I can't believe there's anyone who doesn't know him or wish he'd make them rich. I'd kill for a Banksy on my building..all I have is neighbor dog piss.
I like it. I think freelance graphic artist are very creative. Some of their art in Paris and south America is very bright, colorful and expressive. It makes many of the dull buildings just POP. Plus alot of these artist do it for FREE. They just want the recognition.

when that 'Graffiti artist' raped my wall, I would paint over it the next morning. It is MY fucking wall, he has no business to touch it. Fucking asshole. I hope he is shot some night.
