TMZ reports.."Eagles" guitarist Joe Walsh claims a man in his 70s has threatened to shoot him dead ... this according to new court documents. But the septuagenarian suspect doesn't seem like a fragile old man -- Walsh says the old guy already attacked his personal assistant with a block of wood. Walsh it terrified and has a restraing order out for him, his family and even his gardener.

Being a native of California, I'll always HATE the fucking Eagles and their brand of shitty music, incorrectly dubbed "California Rock." We grew up with the LA punk scene, so the Eagles crap was the antithesis of music to us.
I like the Eagles some, but hate, hate, hate Hotel California. My son and husband like it though, so I hear it all too often.
Having a teenage boy, we've gone through the whole classic rock phase recently, and I don't care for Queen that much, but I do love "Who wants to live forever". My favorite, so very haunting. Other than that, the only context I like "we are the champions" in is Revenge of the Nerds. Very appropriate at the end.
Hard to believe that anyone would really want to kill Joe Walsh, but I guess I'll take his word for it.
Hey, when the Saints FINALLY won the Super Bowl, "We Are the Champions" was one of the songs that really told our story. But I can see where I would have to unplug the "juke box" after a while. You see, there's something to be said for the old record playing machines---you could bump that sucker and get the record to stop playing!

I like The Eagles too! Sorry you don't Pat. Love Queen too. Fredie Murcury was an amazing artist. I have thier Live DVD and I love it. Brian May is in his 60's and recently went back to school to get his PHD I believe. It's never too late to learn! I really love Queen. I liked Joe Walsh when he was a lone singer too. He did the music for The Warriors movie. Amazing songs. Of course that was back in the late 70's. I like him, sorry but I do. I always will. And Long Live Queen!

As a HUGE fan of Led Zeppelin, i can honestly say that if i never hear stairway to heaven ever again in my lifetime that would be just fine.
No ring yet Jarhead! He's older than me and has been married once before. He doesn't get it.
I've never been married and it's not that I believe in happily ever after, it's just that I personally don't believe in living together either. I've been living with him for almost 6 years now.
I know most people today accept it, but it's been bugging the crap out of me lately.
I think my biggest fear, is walking away with nothing and starting over. Obviously I would have to buy a home, furniture, etc. He's a great provider which is probably why I find it difficult to leave, but I also know that regardless of what he can buy or provide, I have to be happy and content.
