Sativex, a mouth spray, relieves painful spasticity of the muscles which can make life so difficult. Unfortunatly the cost of it will be prohibitive to the average MS patient on a limited income. Sounds right, doesn't it? They finally come up with something that might help, made from a common herb that grows anywhere and the drug company makes it too expensive. The goverenment will get their share too. Twice actually. On taxing this stuff and on the confiscations of sick people who find it cheaper to just buy a bag of illegal weed. Nice.

It's what we always thought, isn't it? That it would remain illegal until the drug companies could license some product, and then it would be financially out of reach for most. I would bet that most people who would need this product are not working regularly, and don't have insurance to cover it. So what's the point in manufacturing it? It's really cruel.
They scrape together enough money for the spray and then have nothing left for the munchies---check between the cushions on the sofa!
just like solar power won't become popular until they find a way for a power company to get a monopoly over the sun and sunshine output....
I just don't understand why alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't. I will never understand that. So many people get killed or maimed by drunk drivers. So many people mess up their lives by becoming alcoholics. But it's all legal. But you smoke a plant that blisses you out, and what happens? You go to jail. I saw some cops on TV ripping up a house because they thought there was a marijuana plant inside. It's a friggin' PLANT and yet a bunch of beefy cops were tearing the house apart looking for it like it was a damn A-bomb...I'm sick of this double standard.
And it will become popular amongst celebutards, turning into the latest accessory.
you know lindsay is gonna be flying there to get that!
