Buffalo attack

A tourist was attacked by a buffalo in Yellowstone and got it on tape. So, do you spot anything wrong here?

That buffalo was pissed! I can only see half of the screen but what was that white thing that landed on his back? Did they throw something at it? *eyes rolling*

What a dumb ass. I really feel bad that she got hurt, but they were messing with a wild animal nonetheless. How stupid can you be? You’re in his territory.

I’m surprised some overzealous park ranger didn’t come kill the poor animal.

They should actually be fined for littering and messing with that animal in a nature preserve. They did throw something at it...assholes!

It looks like not only did chase it down and then threw some thing. That guy is lucky to be alive and in one piece. He should be broken mess in the hospital. HOW STUPID!

At the 28 second mark, it looks like the guy threw a stick at the buffalo and it bounced off it's side. Freaking people will never learn, these are wild animals.

I just watched these idiots being interviewed on The Early Show. The woman showed her bruised up legs and the man has a broken arm, black eye, messed up ribs. They said they did not throw anything at the buffalo. The stick was stuck on it's back and was irritating it..something to that effect. Not sure if that's true or not. They're still idiots for going so close to it in the first place.

I saw this on the news. Yes, the woman was an asshat for even trying to get cloer to the buffalo, but apparently it was some unknown person from another vehicle who threw a stick or something at the animal. One time on the isthmus side of Catalina Island, hubs and I had gone for a hike - and there about 100 feet in front of us was a buffalo! We could smell it from where we were (nasty!) -and figured it could see and smell us too. We hightailed it out of there!

I once saw a video on the news, of a woman that was filming elephants being loaded up into trucks, one elephant suddenly turned and ran right into her, while she was filming. It killed her. And her camera just kept rolling. That was a long time ago. It was titled something like "Woman films own death"...not good :(
It might even be on YouTube. But OMG, its terrible to see. I doubt her family would allow that.

Hey! I just remembered this. Does anybody else remember the time the Today Show was at Niagara Falls, and the news person was standing by the railing up before the falls started, it is like a viewing area of the swirling river rapids. Anyways, this woman is standing there talking about Niagara Falls and this person floats by, all you can see is the head & shoulders of this guy. They said they get lots of "jumpers" there and this guy obviously had jumped in up stream. It was on live TV. Big apologies and shock from the TV crew. Nothing could be done tho by then. He was a goner. Gawd, the sh** people accidentally film! Like that whale jumping onto that sailboat. How the he** did somebody nearby just happen to have a camera at the ready for that shot? WOW! Lucky shot!!!

When I was at Yellowstone, tourists did this kind of stuff right in front of you. I wouldn't get out of the car when they were around. The people I mean.

People should just leave wild animals the hell alone. Messing with wild animals pretty much never ends well.

I notice 3 things:
1. A majestic looking animal (when he got riled up).
2. Two idiots that don't have enough sense to pour piss out a boot with the directions written on the heel.
3. And the buffalo obviously was mad about not having his own parking space!

I watched it once and thought the animal looked like something had hit it or bothered its back end. So I watched again and it was obviously reacting to being assaulted to whatever was thrown. They ought to be fined. The animal was perfectly within its rights to defend itself. Idiot humans.

Hope you're feeling better DD

I watched the video over and over again. It looks like the stick comes from the back side of the buffalo (you have to do it frame by frame) Either way the interview on the Today show, the woman pretty much laughs through it. She is loving the attention. They should be fined. Even the interviewer was like "WTF were you thinking?"

in the video they said her right leg was injured and then in the next shot it shows her left leg injured..which one is it??
