Somebody threw out a bunch of garden stuff and Heidi scored these frogs. I think they look cheerful. I love metal in the garden because it rusts and you get cool patinas. The longer they sit out there, the prettier they'll get.
Oh Dish, I love those frogs! They look so happy and I love stuff like that in the garden. I really like to go craft shopping and find things like this.
Free! They were Free! I found another frog in the box of stuff the other day. It was a hang on the wall one. Metal, dirty, and had a $8.99 sticker on the back. I cleaned it and hung it in the kitchen. Free!!!!
I love garden stuff, too. . . and for free???? Woo Hoo! I'm glad to see you were all over that! Today I am going out to Bi-Mart and will buy some 25 cent tomato plants. They are probably half-dead, but with a little luck, they will revive, as all my peas are dead in the heat. That will be a great place to plant the tomatoes. The great circle of life, ya know. . .
There are no tomato plants in my town. I checked everywhere hoping to replace the ones my neighbors killed. It's probably too hot for them anyhow, but, I'm bummed that I won't have fried green tomatos this year. Aww shoot.
I watched a video on YouTube Pat all about CORN. I wanted to make sure I was doing okay. The dude said you had to pollinate your corn if you do not live where it is windy or if they are not planted correctly. So that is what I did today.

I am sooo glad I watched it. I did not want dud corn.
I'm sorry there aren't any replacement tomato plants where you are, Pat. There were tons of them at Bi-Mart this morning. Probably a hundred of all kinds, and all for 25 cents each. I brought home ten and will plant them towards evening. It got a little too hot to plant them prior to my coming home, so we will see how they do. They obviously will need some TLC, but they are definitely more alive than dead. My peas died in the hot weather in the last week. It was in the upper 90's which is hot for these parts. We escaped day before yesterday and went to the beach---my favorite place to go !!! The weather was perfect---I went sleeveless, and it was slightly cloudy, and the perfect temp. I was never cold. Within 10 minutes of starting our drive back, it was 10 degrees warmer. Another 20 minutes and it was 15 degrees warmer. I am glad we were able to escape for the day.

My peas are good though! For the first time.
I have the same guitar frog on my front porch! We got it for our wedding with no card. We have no idea who it was from! :)
