Heidi's first tat

If you're going to get a tattoo, make sure it's meaningful. Heidi got a Phoenix. I totally get that. It's nicely done too. Wow, it's big though. Was it sore? She thinks maybe tats are like Lay's potato chips..lol. We'll see. It's pretty hot.

LOL..

Surprisingly it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Do not get me wrong, there was pain involved..but I have been through alot of pain in my life..this was nothing!
It felt like a bad sunburn. It is almost done. Still a bit scaly but half of it feels like the rest of my skin.
I am planning on getting another one..hehehe
It will represent my Dad. A schooner. Full masted! It will go on the other arm.
Funny thing...My Dad had tats all over his arms and did not want any of his kids to get any. Back in his day (1930-40s) people got sick from dirty tattoo needles.
I figure he would be okay with it now.
hehehehe

Good for you. Looks great. Me?, I'm not ever going there. I have to give myself a shot once a week and that is more than enough needles for my body.

Great tat, Heidi! And you are right--they ARE like Lay's! I have 4 myself, and I don't think I'm done yet, LOL.
