Not much shocks me, in fact, I am so jaded that some days I have a hard time finding something worth blogging about, because who cares? But, today I saw
THIS and my jaw dropped. What does unlimited unsupervised Internet privileges do to an 11 year old child? This family needs some help, where is social services?

Some people never should have advanced past the rotary dial phone and the 12 channel, rabbit-ears change the channel yourself TV. These dumbass kids (and those much older) need to realize what they put out there is only one click away for everyone .... and it doesn't go away.
I could only take about 10 seconds of that kid.....what the hell ?
snowbunnie
I remember being very disturbed when my nephew was allowed HBO in his TV room when he was about 3 years old. He was not supervised and had access to every thing on there such as Sex and the City, Sopranos, all those rated R movies and shows that are not for kids. I remember I seemed to be the only person who thought it was wrong.
Now I am seeing the internet take over their lives. This is the first generation that will not know how to have a conversation or speak to someone and look them in the eye. They all text, email or instant message on facebook or myspace. No one speaks to each other anymore. What is more disgusting is when you see adults chatting to their kids' friends on facebook like they all hang out together. There is no line anymore between parent and kid either. They are all on the same level. The internet is a wonderful tool but it will be interesting to see how this generation ends up healthwise (mental and physical) in about 30 years.
Gawd...every single one of my daughter's friends has unlimited access to the internet, be it through their phones or the computer in their room. Do none of their parents give a damn?? Your kids need supervision, not another friggin' friend!
Who in their right mind screams at a webcam like that?? That guy is seriously stupid. And the mom stands in the background swearing? WTF?
The little girl comes off as icky and spoiled--but this is what 11 year olds do sometimes--but up until now they did it in front of a mirror, not the entire WORLD.
Very sad. Her parents need a lot of help, everything from anger management therapy to computer classes. CyberPolice! HA!
This girl is an idiot even by 11-year-old standards. But I can see where she got it from after watching her dad. Yeah, yell at the Internet, that ought to fix things. Now he has become a meme. That is what happens! It reminds me of the time Madonna was trying to discourage people from downloading her music, so she recorded herself saying "What the hell do you think you're doing?" in the middle of illegaly downloaded versions of her music. All that happened was that computer-savvy people made dance mixes of her saying "What the hell do you think you're doing?" and played them at clubs. She looked like a fool. That is what happens when you try to one-up the Internet. Not gonna work.
I used to go to this website where there was a 15-year-old girl who was constantly posting pictures of herself and talking about her hobbies and the name of her high school and all sorts of other things you shouldn't reveal on the Internet. People found her annoying so one day somebody dug up all her private info. After that, whenever she posted under her screenname, people would respond to her by using her real-life name (first, middle, and last!) It freaked her out. I felt kind of sorry for her, but you simply have to be more careful on the Internet these days.
What a sad little self-involved ninny. She obviously has no good role models in her life.
I can't imagine why people let their children have unlimited access to the internet. Many adults don't know how to handle it, I don't know why anyone would think a kid would. If that was my daughter, she would not be dressed like that, either. Little pink bra hanging out of a low-cut top at the ripe, old age of eleven. It's really sad that anyone thinks this is appropriate. White trash. She's headed for a life of trouble.
The thing that pisses me off the most is that 4chan is going to get blamed for the actions of this stupid girl and her stupid parents.
the internet was made by adults for adults.
Children should not be online.
Problems solved.
