Mary Knows Best

I watched the reality show, Mary Knows Best last night and I found it mildly interesting. Mostly I liked Mary's eccentric family and the readings she did on houses, which I can relate to. Mary Occhino is a psychic and a paranormal radio show host. What I can't relate to is the fact that Mary is so pushy. She seems real to me, but, she gives unsolicited readings to strangers in public places. It's a little creepy (and embarrassing). Did you watch? It's on the SyFy channel.

Going to try and catch it. I don't like the unsolicited readings. I thought some psychic code kept the gifted from being tacky! Some people just don't want to know.

i could go around giving some people unsolicited readings but i don't think that's the ethical thing to do.....

if it starts to open up a bit more in the next couple days, i'll send you a picture for sunday of a gladiola.....let me tell you about this gladiola....

next to my arch up front i had a rose bush that was half dead last year....it didn't come at all this year, so i pulled it out and planted morning glory seeds to go up the arch....

i saw what looked like iris leaves growing next to the arch and i thought my irises were spreading as i have some irises planted in that area with tiger lilies....the other day i go out and it's NOT an iris it's a gladiola.....

i never planted gladiolas anywhere here....my neighbor who passed away though this year LOVED them....they were her favorite flower....today it started to open a wee little bit and it's going to be a red one, which was one of her favorite colors!!!

i posted a pix of it the other day on facebook and her sister commented that it was marie letting us know she's okay....i definitely think she put the gladiola there because there's no other explanation....

How could I have missed this?
There is nothing on Wednesday
evening. I will watch next week--
no, make that two weeks. On vacay
next week--no TV where I am going.
Just peace and quite and no close
neighbors--love it.

No, I didn't watch it, but I did see the ads and wondered if it really was a reality show, or more of a "reality" show. I also wondered what you would think of it, so it looks like I tuned in here at a good time. Maybe I'll catch it next time, or maybe they'll repeat this one, as they sometimes show things repetitively.

i had it on in the background the other night - looks pretty interesting. I was impressed on how much detail she got out of that house! I'd watch it again if i caught it :)

I dvr'd this show for the first two episodes.

Meh.

To me, it comes across as a Jersey Shore spinoff minus the bar brawls.

The mother seems to make a point of suffocating the daughter, mentally, and the older son is just an asshat.

I'm giving this one a miss.

I saw the show and I think her daughter ought to tell her how embarrasssing she is (in no uncertain terms)and to stay out of her love life. Or I would find someone to act as her boyfriend and I would tell him to act and dress like everything the mom hates---a real horrible person. And lay it on thick!

The son with the high IQ is weird. How do people just decide they are going to give a speech or conference or whatever and put chairs in their back yard and ask people in. It was so strange! I did miss the first few minutes of the show so I might have missed something that would explain this. Did I?
