Miss Tia..

Did you read this one? The state of Ohio sells personal information collected from driving records. HERE. Other states do it too, but, apparently Ohio sells it really cheap. Jebus.

What a load of crap. Why on earth should this information be available to ANYONE other than law enforcement??
Whenever I enter a contest, I read all the fine print about whether my personal information will be released and to whom. If I don't like what I read, I either take my filled out application, or tear it up. This doesn't even give you a choice. They just assume that you consent to having third parties receive your info. That is so wrong, and should be unconstitutional. How is it right for them to profit from this???

I agree this is uncalled for. Your personal information should never be released to anyone. Even for a price.
Talking about Personal information just found something on the net with my daughters full BDAY and name. A Tribute/Obituary shouldn't contain personal information about your family when you were not ASK personally to put this info on this site. I'm so disgusted with this person. I'm ready to take legal action if my daughter info is not removed in 24 hrs. Identity theft can happen to anyone even a child.

So, the ones we are looking for to create privacy laws are down and dirty just like the rest of them. Sheesh! Whatever happened to all of that checks and balances bullshit they taught us in government class in school? It seems like it has all been thrown out the window.

Its all about the money. Ohio and the other states doing this do it for the cash. Thats it. So, can you get state officals personal info if you want it? I betcha can if you looked into it. It's out there somewhere. Public record! Free or not, its there. I wonder if they get messed with? This is wrong.

STFU !!! The crtc would have a litter of kittens if
this were allowed up here !!! You'd think you
own your privacy in America ! You are the keeper
of your soul. Stand up for your rights this is
gubernatorial bullshite !!! Bill C -41 is rolling
in it's grave. Civilians personal info act be damned !
What the fuck are we living in a police state?!
I'm fascinated by the irony of the protectors
perverbial act of eating the very ones that they
have been entrusted to act as the keeper of all
pertinent & personal information. To this I say
my life is not for sale ! Rant over now. -Kiki ;/
