I got an email from my friend Cindy warning about soda bottle bombs that are being planted around. I went and checked it out and it's real. These things go WAY beyond the baking soda and vinegar bombs we all made as kids, these are made out of drain cleaner and foil. If you see a bottle in your yard and it looks sus, don't touch it! Call the police. These things can blind you or blow off a hand.
What is this world coming to??? Now we need to worry about errant bottles of soda that may blow someone's hand off? Idiots that do this sort of thing need to be beaten severely, covered in honey and dug into the sand near an anthill. Locally, some idiot has been placing exploding tennis balls in parks over the last few years. Dogs that find them and pick them up have been severely injured and needed to be put down. Why are people going to this extent to try to injure each other??? It makes no sense.
Sorry for the repetitive posts, but the slide in the background of this picture got my attention. I know they are probably very safe, but our neighborhood park got several of these in brown (probably to blend in and look "natural") and they just look like giant turds to me. It's nice that that picture contains a yellow one.
I heard this quote once that was something like, "You cannot say technology does not improve; for with each war they find a a new way to kill you."
I find that quote more suitable about society in general than about war, honestly. Soda bottles bombs...WTF. Psycho people think of more psycho shit all the time.
Christina, we have those here and they are attached to those corkscrew climbing things with no guard rail. I hate them, they're dangerous. Lissa is not allowed on them.
