This baby needs a home

Recently I got an email that touched my heart. Patricia just lost her husband unexpectedly and her circomstances have changed and she can no longer keep adorable Presley. She writes "Presley is just a fabulous and exquisite English bulldog with lots of baby bullies wrinkles!, stocky with short legs, heavy bone, awesome mass and wide chest, excellent temperament, with a lifetime of love and wrinkles. He is very current on his vaccinations and de-worming and will come with full AKC registration for show or responsible breeding."

Patricia, you need to tell us the general vicintiy you live in and I'm sure readers will want to help. Presley is wonderful and anyone would be lucky to get him. If you're interested in Presley, write to me and put "Presley" in the title and I will foreward it to Patricia.

Yes,
Definitely tell us where you live and are you expecting payment for Pressley or not. My friend has been dying to get a younger bulldog to add to her family. She has an older bulldog already.
If you are near us and all the planet`s align just right..maybe Pat can give you my email addy.

I assumed Presley needed a home and was not for sale. I hope that's the case here.

Pat,
I only said that because that is how people roll around here in CT. Even if they need to find a home for an animal..they are still looking for payment.
So please do not take that as slight towards you..it is just what I am used to.

Aw, my heart goes out to Patricia. Losing a husband and having to deal with parting with this sweetie...I can't even imagine her heartbreak.

Patricia, I am so sorry you lost your husband and have to part with this adorable little baby. I hope you find the perfect home for this little guy, and I hope your heart heals in time.

Heidi, I didn't take it personally. I wondered too. I don't know Patricia, but, she did respond to my request for a pic. I hope this is all good and the pup finds a home. I'd take him myself in a heartbeat, but, I think one dog is all I need with my medical condition.

And, I will foreward HER addy to you and not the other way 'round. How's that?

Oh no... so sorry to hear all the bad news for Patricia. Please give a local. We too have been considering another dog.

Hi DD.

I've grown up with Bulldogs. My parents are very involved in Bulldog Rescue. I'll send you an email. (FYI-Most reputable breeders would want to take a puppy back if the circumstances of the family changed so severely.) I love my rescued babies. The AKC does have rescue sites/contact info on their website for people in this situation--these people are advocates for dogs, and the breed, in general.

I'd love to take her, I've wanted a bully for years but I'm sure that she'll have already found a hundred homes by the time I throw my hat in the ring. At any rate, somebody will be lucky to have her......

Thank you Pat..Send her email to me and then we will see what happens.
