Adorable baby.
I hear you about names, DD. I was going to be Veronica until my dad did a freak out because they used to call hookers in Hawaii by that name in WWII. I have never felt like my name fit me. I remember refusing to tell people my name when I was little because it didn't feel right to me. My parents did not allow nicknames, either. Everyone had to call me by my full name. Gah.
My husband also feels like his name never fit, either, though he was named after his dad.
That's one of the reasons that we chose the names we did for our son. He can use either name, or one of the many nicknames you can abbreviate them into. Whatever works for him. . . and we have made a point of telling him so, too.
Christina is a good name! It fits an adult woman. I have one of those silly kid names that didn't even fit when I was a toddler.
Were you named after Patsy Cline?
Nope. I wish. Crazy would have fit.
She is a beautiful baby girl and I love her name.
Beautiful baby, beautiful name! I hate my name, too. Dull and boring....
What a cutie!
My Dad wanted to name me Arlene. Mom almost went along with it until one of my Dad's sisters slipped up and let my Mom know that was the name of one of Dad's old girlfriends. Guess what my isn't?

beautiful baby! So Pat, are you named after Patsy Cline? Thats cool if you are. She is amazing. My daughter's 1st dance at her wedding is going to be to "I fall to pieces", she almost was going to walk down the aisle to that but they decided on the "LOVE" version of the Beatles "Here comes the sun", it's outdoors in a garden in the morning. So, I loved that. Less than 100 days to go guys!!! Can someone come & help me cook all this food? LOL...
rox
I was originally supposed to be Pierce Littlejohn. Littlejohn being my middle name. I was supposed to be a boy. Guess I shocked everyone when I was born. They saddled me with Shelton. I hated it growing up because it is typically a boy's name. Now, that I'm older, it helps with the telemarketing calls. I always know to hang up when they ask for, "Mr. Shelton R..." It's also funny when I meet clients for the first time. In my line of work, most of the first conversations are through email, so when a phone call or personal interview is set up, they give me a strange look or the common phrase, "YOU are Shelton?" I always want to yell, "SURPRISE!!"
I love the name Chloe and Elizabeth. And what a beautiful baby girl she is!
Such a sweet baby with such an infectious smile! The name Chloe suits her perfectly, she looks like a Chloe. :)
