An Oklahoma woman survived a terrifying attack by two thugs who broke into her home to rape and rob her and maybe kill her. Instead she tricked them and pulled a gun out of her purse and shot them both. She killed one of them. Oklahoma has a "Make My Day" law allowing residents to use deadly force inside their homes. This woman is a hero and I loved this story. They got exactly what they deserved, it's too bad she didn't kill both of them. HERE.

I don't like guns, and it scares me to death that my son wants to buy one, now that he's eighteen, but maybe I need to have one, too. I guess things aren't getting better out there.
It's good that she not only had a gun, and could manage to get to it, but that she stayed calm enough to use it well.
Clean up the mess, do life and be the prison bitch for life too. Fucking sickos. I would like to think I would have remained calm enough to do what she did. When you have nothing left to lose...

I love that story. Then it got weird when it said she was able to discern her boyfriend from the attackers and not shoot him, even tho he is also black. I'm sure it was all-hell-breaking loose but still, that was a weird comment. Good goin' girl! You make me proud! Whooo!!!! I am afraid if there was a handgun in my house someone would get shot...and I don't mean an intruder.

How in the hell did the robber miss the gun in her purse? Well, if he was searching my bag he would miss it! LOL!!! Receipts, papers, Mapquest maps,...it's a f'g mess and I have to laugh that he missed the damn gun, and he was probably the one killed by it! It teaches us to keep our purses messy! LOL! 'Cuz only WE know where shit is!!
One of the best purses I ever owned had a hidden gun compartment in it. I got it at a gun show. It also had a wire cable running through the shoulder strap. The strap could not be cut easily. I used it so much the cable started to wear through the strap. But I loved that purse. I still have it. If times get worse, I may have to look for a new one. Oh, and you don't worry about taking the gun out of the purse. If they are that close, you shoot with the gun still in the purse. Then you get a new purse for NEXT time!!!
