Because people do things like this..

And that is why I use those sales fliers they have at the entrance to line my cart and I don't care if people look at me like I'm weird. People are filthy and they suck.

!!!!! WTF?!?!?!?! she couldn't do that in her vehicle????

No, she prefers to leave shit in our food cart.

eeewwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!

And I NEVER use that baby seat part for food. It would be handy, since I'm short and can't reach the bottom of the cart..but, poopy kids sit there. No one cleans them.

That is just straight up nasty! SMH

Yeah, and she will probably throw the shitty diaper on the ground right after she changes the oil in her car---this really happens around here!

CJ said...

That is just gross. Use your car, or use the restroom changing table. Amazing how stupid some people are.

She's a fat slob too. With a busted Kate Gosselin do. LET'S. KILL. HER.
Yes, grocery carts are DISGUSTING. Thank god we have grocery delivery around here or I would be insane by now. I really only go grocery shopping at a real store in the winter--when I can wear gloves without being "odd".
I never thought about the shitty diapers on the seat part of the cart. Oh god...not another thing to obsess on. I'm going to have to start carrying lysol with me everywhere. sigh.

The stores around here all have rolls of antiseptic wipes nest to the carts and I always take a handful of them and wipe down the whole thing.

And this reminds me of my housecleaning days and this one family with a couple of teenage girls and a baby. These lazy ass people didn't know what a trash can was. The crew would show up and the main bathroom tub was always filled with dirty diapers and used sanitary napkins. Just ewwww! Everytime we'd have to tell that bleached blonde bimbo to empty it out before we would start cleaning. And get this, bitches husband was a doctor. People are pigs!

Oh ok EWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

They have big canisters of antibacterial wipes next to the carts here too. Since being sick recently, I've really made a point to wipe that basket and handle down before I use it. If you saw what comes off the handle it would turn your stomach, They are BLACK with crud. The last one I went to wipe had something crusty on the underside of the handle. I just pushed that one over to the side. No wonder colds and nasty flu shit spreads like wildfire.

I notice where this class act is doing her shopping ... or that just where she plans to leave the diaper. WHat about her baby? A cart can't be comfortable and what was in there before the baby. Poor kid a slob ass for a mother.

Shit happens!!!

ICSP, that's totally a walmart cart!

That's nasty as hell but unfortunately everything in this world is. So many people are dirty, you can't avoid dirt no matter what you do, so I've mostly given up trying. I have OCD and giving up was the only way to stop myself from going insane.

I still take some precautions though. I agree it's a good idea not to put food in the baby seat part of the cart...I never do that.

Thats why I am so anti-social. People make me sick. Used to think it was the job that made me this way. But the older I get the more disgusted I am with people. Most of them are just pigs.

NancyB said...

OMG, I never in a million years would have thought someone would be so filthy to do this. I'm a sales fler liner gal from now on! Done with the baby seat. I wonder how often when I've thought that I had food poisining but could never figure it out cause my husband ate the same thing and wasn't ill that it could have been from filthy carts.

Speaking of shitty.

I want to say something about the Julio post. My personal email is skunkalpha@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Rox,
I don't think I have ever attacked or questioned anyone in this forum. I gave your daughter advise about her boyfriend when you asked for it because you thought he was cheating. And when you mentioned she cried in your husband's shoulder it touched me because I missed that in my own life. I hope she is happily married and has a good life, because it's hard enough to get through it without help.

You have my email and I'll give you my phone number if you want.-

Quite a few ladies ganged-up behind misstia and Rox' lead. That's cool. I never came here for drama; I came here for the lack of it.

Sorry Pat. I don't let things linger; my cup is full with my own emotions. I sent you a new pic of Julio.

Speaking of carnage.

Julio got into a fight with a cricket in the tool shed. He pounced on it forever before finally eating it.

I sent you a snapshot of the action. crickets are better than catnip.

Who needs TV when you have cats, that's what I always say...LOL If a bug is unfortunate enough to get into my house, the boys will hunt that guy down and systematically pounce him to death. Then, sit there looking dejected because the bug won't play anymore...LOL

jar, if you came here for the lack of drma , you might be in the wrong place! We have enjoyed your comments and you company but when something doesn't quite add up, we notice. Thats all! And with being "invisible" on the web, any of us could be anybody. I have even heard of celebs going online anon or with other names & posting. And befriending regular Joe's. So, anything is possible. I don't care anymore cuz it's given me a bad headache. LOL! And BTW, that guy my daughter WAS dating has not been in the picture for about 19 mos. LONG gone. Thank Gawd. Fiance' is a really nice, sweet guy, very soft spoken and respectful. I too hope they have a long & happy marriage. Thank you for that! Have a happy Friday everyone.

Jarhead, you're nothin' but, a class act here. A gentleman and a scholar. I have never thought you were anything else.

miss tia said...

i dunno why you're picking on rox jarhead.....and i wasn't 'leading' anything....you're the man, you're the marine....but you're now whining....and lack of drama? here?! HAH! that would be nice eh?!

and dude....that is not a kitten...it's at least a year old cat....

but specifically calling out rox, who you know how serious menierre problems and calling me a 'leader' is wrong-o-roni.....and it's really quite "shitty"....

i don't wanna disrespect DD, i don't think anyone does, cuz we all love her; but picking on rox is not right....and this subterfuge is making me rather ill too....

I wasn't surprised to see that pic - people will do just about anything unless confronted directly at the time of the disgusting transgression (kinda like housebreaking a puppy)- they have no shame.

Filthy carts is one of the biggest reasons why I have a grocery delivery service - at least I can pretend everything is done sanitarily.

I'm surprised to see the dust-up for some of Jarhead's posts.
I, for one, have always enjoyed them.
He seems to be, in the best sense, a true (and rare) Renaissance man.

Angie said...

I still don't quite understand all of this, but I trust Pat's judgment and if she says you're a gentleman, that's good enough for me :)

Dirty Disher said...

When people you love are in a dust up, it seems best to let them have it out and stay out of it. That's what I'm doing.

miss tia said...

sorry pat!!! :( this whole thing is making me sick....i'm done with it today.....

Jarhead, ck ur email.

I'm done with it as well. It's just opinions. Sorry for the turbulence Pat.

I am sorry you are being attacked I don't quite understand it and I am not pointing fingers in any direction - I just hate seeing all this "in-fighting" (not sure if that is the right word).
I know many men who are military (marine, army and navy) some of them are the most compassionate sensitive men I know. I hope you don't leave I enjoy what you have to say! Hope you stick around.

oh that was me Ellie btw.

Jarhead---I love your posts, and hope you don't go anywhere. I don't really get what all the tension was about, but I am one of the many who have no part in it, and hope you continue to feel comfortable posting here.
I have two dogs---one is seven and one is three. I refer to them both as puppies, as they are very playful. I know that technically they are not puppies, but I don't think it's a big deal.

As for the shopping carts. . . I always use the clorox or lysol wipes provided by the store, and the purex hand sanitizer provided, as well. Shopping carts here are cleaner than they used to be. It's pretty rare that I have to set one aside due to obvious dirt or stickiness. My son has done cart return and cleaning of checkstands for the past couple of years, and sometimes he brings home a bug. Thankfully, he started cashier training on Wednesday. Now he only has to worry about dirty money and drug residue.
People littering makes me see red. I recently saw someone coming out to their car at a local store, as I was getting out of mine. She got in her car and pulled the metal ring-tab top off a can of nuts, and tossed it out the passenger window of her car. I was pissed. I went over, said "Here. You dropped this." and tossed it back in her window. She started yelling, and threw it back out. As I bent down to pick it up, she scrambled to back out of the parking spot. I followed her and tucked it under her windshield wiper and walked away. As I entered the store I could hear her screaming and honking as she jerkily drove away---she had turned on her windshield wipers. What on earth makes a person feel they have the right to get away with littering like that. If I could have tucked it up her asscrack, I would have. Dirty diapers are the other item that makes me see red. That and the local "foreigners" whose kids go stand in one of the local rivers to take a dump and watch the turds float downstream. You'd recognize me in this scenario. I'm the passive-aggressive bitch on the bank, pointing and yelling, "hey, look! That kid is pooping in the river!!! Is that her poop over there, floating downstream???" People love me. My family has learned to pretend they don't know me.

Thanks.

So let me get this straight Miss Tia - you and Rox decided to question Jarhead in a previous thread - he addresses it with Rox but that is not Ok? Again you being a hypocrite as you then attack him some more question him somemore and even say that it's wrong to attack Rox b/c of her illness? So does that give her permission to attack others and they are not allowed to talk back? You guys really are going to have dd's site down to nothing with your antics. Jarhead seems like a nice guy to me but if I was him I sure as hell wouldn't come around here anymore. I thought he was one of your friends part of the DD family?????? Guess not...buyer beware
