When it comes to mooing, 10-year-old Austin Siok is an expert. The Dyer Intermediate School fifth-grader last week won an annual mooing contest at the Wisconsin State Fair because he sounded more like a real cow than the other about 80 contest participants.*
He won a cow print jacket, a golden cowbell and a year's worth of free subs and a $1,000 dollars! Austin says it's really cool because he's sort of famous now and you can Google his name and it will come up. There's a vid of him moo-ing HERE and sorry if this article made me smile, but, usually all you read about in the news is horrible things and he's just so cute, I wanted to hug him. Good job, Austin.

DD I just sent you an e-mail with a link that you MUST see!!
We live in WI . My son is 25 and still moos at cows . It makes me laugh :) Good for Austin ! That's quite an accomplishment !!!
I don't like cows. They sneak up on me. They're just sneaky.
Wow, he really does sound like a cow!
I always want to know why it seems they're always pointing the same way in a field. Do they know something I don't know?
I like cows more than I like horses. All the horses I've met are sneaky.
He's adorable, and I love the way he hugs his mom, back. This is really cute!
That was too cute! Good for Austin!
lol! Frimmy, the cows are all pointing in the same direction to let the aliens know where to land. :)
Years ago, my husband was helping the neighbor with his cows, checking to see if they were pregnant. For those of you that aren't lucky enough to know how this is done, suffice it to say, it looks mighty awkward for the cow. My oldest daughter was along for the event, probably was 12 at the time. One young cow was not happy to have an arm up her ass and decided to cut bait and run for the hills. She jumped the fence right next to my daughter and the poor child has been terrified of cows ever since. Now that she's older, I think she sympathizes with the animal's situation, but has not conquered the fear of those damn monsters...LOL
This just makes me LMAO, shows you how much of a city girl I am - I had no idea they do these kinds of things! I wonder if they have a contest for other animal noises, I'm pretty good at ducks and goats. Hahaha..
