Clever planter

What a sharp idea Daphne had, using an old chair as a planter! I love that. Your flowers are nice this year..I love the Caladiums. It's all very homey and peaceful looking. Makes me want to sit on that porch and have coffee while I pet the dog with my foot.

I love the planter idea! I am done going to garage sales for the week and I wish I had gotten one of those seatless chairs, now! Very clever.

My sister had one like that. If you plant a vine, it will cover the back of the chair. Check the side of the road on garbage day, you might get 2--1 for each side of your door.

DD...for some reason, this made me think of the "Prom Queen" which made me think of your cement work! Anything yet?

excellent idea.....morning glories would grow good around the chair, as you suggested Jane....

I got that chair at the good will for a buck and a quarter. When I pulled the seat out it was stuffed with old newspaper from the 1920's! I had a ball reading those stories!

And Harley would love a good scratch anytime! She's a spoiled little fart.

Cute! I could never have one though, because I would accidentally sit on it.
