Drew Barrymore got this weeks best dressed award for this vintage frock that cost $25 bucks. She found it in some vintage shop in Texas. I think she looks great, but, I find one of those dresses every month and think to myself, oh, someone should buy that. But, not me. I wouldn't get best dressed in it around here. I'd get, "Where did you get that thing, some used shop?" And I'd say yeah, the used shop...again. Maybe it helps that she paired it with YSL heels that probably cost two grand. I guess my Mary Kate and Ashley shoes from wally world don't cut it. Still, Drew looks great, even if I do feel the need to dust her off. Remember when you had that wallpaper?

Drew is best dressed
Drew Barrymore got this weeks best dressed award for this vintage frock that cost $25 bucks. She found it in some vintage shop in Texas. My big Bro & SIL had that wall paper in 1974. Ugly then, ugly now. Drew can pull off the vintage thing, tho.
Foil paper was bit** to hang too! I used to be a paper hanger back in the 70's. Hated it!! Foil was the worst. I had to do a big bathroom in a foil once. It was the wallpaper from hell!! Trust me. Cutting & trimming it around the tilet etc was enough that I think I was in tears and wanted to just walk out & not go back. Terrible wallpaper. Grasscloth was awful too. You have to remember to reverse the drop each time, even tho there's no patter to match, the run has to be reversed every time or it doesnt lay flat. Learned that the hard way. Gawd almighty! GRRRR!
I am sure she had that dress altered too, so it really fits nice & tailored to her body. I wouldnt wear it either. LOL! NOOOO! I stay away from prints. Unless you are a size "00" prints are a really bad idea! Looks great on Drew tho. Love her!!

I like this dress. Believe it or not, I just bought a dress from an Etsy shop that sells vintage clothing. My dress is a paisly print, which I love.
I love the whole "vintage" thing. It kills me. My mom shopped in Thrift Stores my whole life and garage sales. So, I must have been wearing "vintage" for most of my childhood. What a thing to call used clothes or hand-me-downs. Vintage always makes me laugh. It just means someone wore it before you did !!! LOL!!!
I think she looks fab. She is cute and can pull this off. Funny you would mention the Olsen Trolls because when I saw this picture I was thinking, "Hmm, Drew Barrymore can pull this off, but some people couldn't at all, like Mary Kate or Ashley." If they wore it they'd be slouched over and wearing some stupid hat and a big shawl and looking homeless as per usual.
