This is when Miss Tia sent the magical Gladiola back to her late neighbor. It was a joyous hello from both sides as the Glad was a present from the neighbor. I think it was a lovely ceremony and a beautiful tribute. Miss Tia, that was so sweet.

thanks ladies!!! i truly have no doubt she saw the glad and that she received it....another neighbor and i sent notes to her with it....it really brought her family comfort too....
if it blooms again next year, i will again send it to her....her mom wants to be here next time when i do....i offered the bulb to her mom but she said that that was her gift to me and there should be a red glad on her daughter's street....i said that if the bulb multiplies, which bulbs do, i would insist that she take an off shoot and she agreed....
anon 2:08-my daughter cast off about 35 helium filled big party balloons after her engagement party on Saturday night. Make a wish!!! Tias' balloons for her friend were a tribute to her. They were beautiful and look very expensive so she can do w/e she wants with them. Her friend got her messages too! How wonderful to do such a thing for a friend that is gone. So...start bashing my daughter too cuz she unloaded a ton of balloons and loved doing it. Remember what Winnie The Pooh said: "Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon"...so spread the cheer! Love u Tia <3
