The older girls already raise the little ones, so how would her death change anything? I'll bet if she died, Jim Boob would remarry within a year and have a new vessel for his super sperm. Praise the load. Pass the brain cells.

The newest commercial, her and JimBob (just his name alone irritates me) call the family together and she says "Someone is expecting again." So it's either her or Anna.

I've probably seen a total of 10 minutes of this show, but it was enough to see that these people are selfish assholes. I really wish one of those older kids would tell them to fuck off and go join the circus. Or go to fucking college, for christ's sake. Who cares, as long as it's THEIR choice and not the direction of JimBob the hillbilly sperm bank.
I simply can't understand this religious philosphy of the quiver they apparently live by.
And while we're talking about right wing people, why is it that people who oppose stem cell research (even if the cells will be thrown away) and abortion for any reason call themselves pro-life? Does their concern for life end after the baby is born into a family that will use and abuse him/her, not be able to care for the baby? Does their concern not extend to people who are already alive and have terrible diseases that could be cured by that research, helping all mankind?
Used to think I was a pretty sharp knife in the drawer, but this concept, either of the above, just can not understand it.

Although I do not agree with their beliefs and think it is totally stupid and selfish to want more children, I like the respect and love the family shows toward each other.

This family just saddens me. There is a certain devaluing of women going on there. Women do not seem to have any value unless they are pregnant or caring for children.
It's their lives, not mine, but having another baby sounds like one of the stupidest, most self-centered ideas around. Is she really so worthless that her children will not miss her if she dies trying again? I think they need to stop breeding, and start paying taxes like the rest of us. As I understand it, they pay no property taxes as they have declared their home a religious institution because they home-school and teach their children about religion there. I have taught our son about God in our home. Does that mean I get a tax break, too?

Heidi, I agree with you. Yuck is right! I saw that episode where JimBob was stroking one of the older girl's hair and talking about how much he likes long hair on all of them. It creeped me out big time! That is wrong on so many levels! {shudders}
One of those girls needs to put on a pair of jeans, cut her hair short, and GET OUTTA THERE with cousin Amy driving the getaway car. My money is on Jinger.

She and Jum Bob have the three oldest girls, Jill, Jana, and Jinger as slave labor to raise the kids. Don't those girls EVER think about a different life? They have no motivation to get the fuck out of there and live and see life in another context other that Quiverful. I remember back with kid #18 or so, M. and J.B. went to that female OB and she seemed really disgusted by the whole Duggar "must be knocked up at all times" world view. If it is Josh's wife Anna who is knocked up again, that is a tragedy. They are only 21 and on their second kid, living in a dump and running a used car dealership! What about education and making something of yourself? Being able to knock up your wife or any woman is not an accomplishment/achievement. It's pure biology.

they were very lucky that their last one, given that she was born at 25 weeks, didnt suffer complications..
I think she must really like the attention she receives when pregnant and probably doesnt know who she 'is' without it..

I don't understand this couple. The last commercial I saw for the show M was yelling at one of the little ones not to touch the baby because she could easily get sick and die. Can't they wait until the last one is healthy?

I would say that the jury is still out on whether Josie will have a normal life or not. She may very well have developmental delays at the least. She doesn't look quite right to me. I am not being critical of her or trying to be insulting to a small child. You just know when things are not quite right.
