I love this picture so much. You can click it to take a better look. Because look at the way Tom Hanks is looking at his wife. Rita was voted worst dressed at the Emmys. And you know damn well it was no accident. Tom still digs his wife. I think it's cool.

i love tom hanks....i just wish he would acknowledge my favorite movie, The 'burbs.....
I remember reading a few years back that his favorite night of the year is Christmas Eve. He said he loved cranking up a fire, sipping coffee and snuggling with his wife in front of the tree. I thought that was so sweet of him.
Tom Hanks is my absolute fav!!! I love his movies. Denzel too, not like I do Toms! He's the best guy in Hollywood, he & Opie Taylor pretty much run Hollywood. Good thing they do. I love their work. And yes, I agree he probably didn't think she'd ahve the balls to wear a chandelier from head to toes! It's totally hysterical. She's so funny too. Love her in her movies. She's always the funny as hell BFF and it suits her prefectly.

i don't think i've seen any other movie by hanks besides the burbs....i love that movie!!! he seems like a great down to earth guy though and that's what i love....
I saw that about this picture too. I thought maybe he doesn't like what she's wearing but she liked it and that's fine with him because he loves her. Now that you mention it though, it does almost look like they're both putting one over on the clothing critics. If they are, good for them!
DD I think you are giving these two too much credit. Celebrities are deluded, they think they look good in everything because they have people kissing their asses 24/7. I would bet money Rita thought she was hot shit in that silly outfit.
Nevertheless, I don't mind these two, they seem pretty harmless.
She wore that on purpose, right? To make a statement or something? To see if she *would* get on some worst-dressed list...right?

This was a joke between them, don't you think? They said to each other how outrageous are the outfits on the red carpet and decided to have someone run up this for Rita, something really kooky and weird, just for fun.
I do love Tom's face here. He's great.
