there's a dress at the kent state fashion museum from the late 1700s france i believe and it looks like there's a love seat built in and it's about 4' wide at the hip area....this sort of reminds me of that....

The strawberry on a pincushion is full of emery so you put your dull pins and needles in and it sharpens them up.
