What is the point of paying for Madonna when you end up with a photo that looks NOTHING like her? Madonna is boring; the design house that commissioned this ad missed the boat.
Sally, I agree. Why do they pay these people millions of dollars to appear in campaigns and then airbrush them until they're unrecognizable?? Might as well use someone non-famous and save your $$$ in that case.
I too figure this ad is to show Madonna is Italian. I guess she got tired of pretending to be British now that she's divorced from her British husband, and wants to be seen as Italian again. I used to like her but now I just think she's such a fake.

I am instantly repulsed by ads or articles that have Madonna in them. She is so over, so done, so boring. Her repetitive reinvention of herself to gain attention is so blatant and snore-worthy. Nothing she does has any genuine feel to it, anymore.
I pity the assholes who spent their marketing budget on this used up, pretentious, Italian prune. I have no idea what they were trying to sell, but I don't want it.
