I've been out of the loop, please someone, tell me..is this really Britney's new song or is this a joke? You can laugh all you want, but, this old broad is a major fan of Brit's pop music and I am totally confused by this one. Where is her nasal gravel? Why is this old joke a song? That can't be her, can it?
Sorry, DD, I haven't to my knowledge heard her sing, so I dunno. I have heard Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" written after their break up. I thought it was lame. But that's no help.
Oh! And this 'hold your body against me' quip is right up Brit's alley. Remember, 'If you seek Amy' and that one song about what if the joke is on you? This is Britney being clever.
It's probably Cathy Dennis doing most of the singing. I've heard Cathy (who is a professional singer) does many vocals for Britney, who can't sing for shit. Apparently she did the chorus of "Toxic", which explains why it doesn't sound strained and baby-voiced like Britney's voice does.
It is her and it's #1 on iTunes downloads this week already. I love Brit. I have her Circus CD on rotation in my car and I love it. Even with some assistance she does better than most people that attempt to make money singing. & She's got the bucks to prove it.
I looked up Cathy Dennis and yeah, I think it's her. Thanks for that heads up. I like Brit's gravel voice and I know she's not the best singer. But, she's an icon and a good preformer who usually chooses well. I don't like this song. It's ignorant.
When a new dance pop song is released, I don't even pay attention to the lyrics cause I know they all pretty much suck. But I love a good dance beat, and I almost always ignore the lyrics and just jam to it. And I think this one's catchy.

LOL Crabbie!
I think it sounds like the usual Brit. I don't understand the whole techno dance craze, but I guess everything has it's phases.

Sounds like Britney to me....

that's actually a catchy tune. I used to be a sucker for Britney back when I was in my early 20's. I'm so old.
It's her, but then again if you factor in that it's heavily "auto-tuned", it's not.
TMZ reported yesterday that this song is #1 on iTunes.

Good point on the F-U-C-K-AMY song too. Though it didn't suck.
Its mizz brit. She is always going to be know for catchy poppy dance music. Something you can mix songs with and start a dance off.
