First, let me say that Suzie Orman and Oprah beating up on Octomom was the single most pathetic thing I've seen on tv in years. You don't beat up on the mentally ill. You either throw a few bills in their cup or walk away. Period. Then..that vid came out. Nadya is so fucked up, she's trying to pass off a fetish video for a comedy film. Umm. No. Now, she says she sent a check back to Vivid because she's not going to take money from porn pushers. Fuck, man, this chick is in so much trouble, she thinks it's okay to do fetish (in her house!) with 14 growing kids in her house. Her older kids are big enough to Google.*
Hell, she thought it was okay to have 14 kids in the first damn place, with no job and no partner. Now, she's sorry for that. Excuse me, what? I used to feel really sorry for her. I still do actually, but, now she scares the shit out of me. She says she doesn't want to be Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian. They made porn films and she won't. I just keep scrunching up my eyes and going, what? I thought she wanted to be Angelina Jolie. Has that dream been replaced by something more obtainable? Nadya's whole existence is a mystery to me. And she will remain an untangled enigma for eternity. No one, and I mean no one, is qualified to figure her out. Patty Duke couldn't even play her in the movie.

i feel so bad for her kids!! i mean, i truly believes she loves them, but there is NO WAY she can properly take care of all of them and ensure all their needs are being met and she has some serious mental illness problems...she still says she feels a void and would have more kids!!!
I agree with Tia. Seeing the toys in the background. Knowing kids play in that room. ewwww sick.. unhealthy living.. Than she started about regretting it and oc might take the kids away. Her neighbors complaining about the kids yelling at all hours, playing outside at 6am, screaming going on to and etc.. She is in HELL.
I have to agree with some blogger I read last week. Octo thought she was going to get it all. Specially having all these kids. She thought people would be paying, giving her products and things, book deals, clothing, shoes and etc.. But no one came through. People are tired of big multi families. Octo was to late.

I think anything you say about her would be correct. She loves her kids, she doesn't love her kids. She did it for money, she did it for fame, she did it because she loves kids and wanted a family. Shakes head. She just can't be pigeon holed. She's too crazy.
She is not only crazy, she's really stupid. She may be a good student, and be able to memorize and spout back the psychobabble buzz words she learns in her psychology courses, but she has no concept of how to apply the principles of good mental health to her own existence. She is completely lacking in common sense and she has absolutely no idea how to make people like her.
I think at this point she is subconsciously trying to get out of this mess anyway possible, with or without the kids, the fame or the money. She's like an animal in survival mode now, and she'd chew off her own leg to get free!
She is mentally ill. Narcissistic and a Pathological Liar. Nothing she says ever really makes sense.
I really feel for those children... I do feel they are being punished for having her as a mother, yet I don't think she should be 'rewarded' for churning out these kids. It would only serve to feed her illness and I wouldn't be surprised if she then felt justified to have more.
I am glad she is not being rewarded like Kate G. I really don't get why she is a faux star simply because she birthed a litter... (with help) What a strange world we live in.

I'm tired of people like Oprah and Suze picking on easy targets. Especially Oprah. When she has a big celebrity on her show all she does is kiss their ass, no matter what kind of person they are. But the minute she has a guest who isn't rich and famous she drills them and almost makes them cry. Imagine if Octomom had jumped on her couch the way Tom Cruise did. Oprah would have torn her to shreds. But when Tom did it she just acted like it was funny. Fuck Oprah.
As for Octomom herself, I think she just doesn't understand reality at all. For example, she says she is broke, and then she walks around with professionally-done French manicures, and she doesn't understand why people criticize her for that. And she has done a fetish movie but says it is not porn, and doesn't understand why people call her a liar. She seems to really be lacking the part of the brain that can reason. She acts like she is about 13 years old.
I don't think she has any idea how she will raise all those kids, either, and I don't think she realizes how expensive and difficult it's really going to be. Once a reporter asked her how she planned to finance raising 14 kids and she said she had invented special sit-ups, which she planned to market and make lots of money off of. Yeah, that's a realistic plan.
Also, on a shallow note, I can't believe how squeaky Octomom's voice is. She sounds like Minnie Mouse crossed with Marilyn Monroe when she sang "Happy birthday Mr. President".
Can someone tell me how long those plumped up lips last. Is it permanent or will that substance diffuse into the system eventually?
Maybe Octo could get the QF Christians to adopt her and her kids.
And I've said it before and I'll say it again...Oprah is a Grand Show Horse. She sends an entire studio full of people to Australia which she said would help promote tourism in Australia!!! How about putting that money into something like homeless shelters, food banks, battered families' shelters, animals shelters or retraining for people who have lost jobs and don't know what to do. She puts on a good show, but half of what she does is questionable. Again, I will site the situation of a women who worked with us after Katrina. Oprah gave them the use of a Hummer for one year to help them get back into their house. (GRAND SHOW) The couple lived 6o miles from N.O. They both worked 50-60 miles from where they were living and in opposite directions, so they couldn't carpool to work. They would leave work everyday and drive to N.O. to work on their house and then back to where they were living--- a lot of mileage! The teachers would donate money to help pay for her gas. And, if you are rebuilding a house, wouldn't a truck make better sense than a Hummer. But she got more of the WOW factor by letting them use the Hummer. It just seems that her people give more thought to PR and not enough to true help. And I'm pretty sure she is probably a very caring women. It just seems her good intentions get lost in the PR!

Bayou Jane-great question, will Octo's faux lips ever go back to normal? I think she had silicone implants, must have.
I saw the previews for the Oprah and Suzie episode. DD's right-you can't attack a person that is mentally ill. There are no rational explanations for Octo's behavior, they exploited her illness to get viewers. Octo needs a guardian and her kids need parenting. It's very sad to see those children and know they will never live up to the potential they have because of their environment--too many children, too few resources (financial, emotional and lack of role models). One parent, with a mental illness, and no money, cannot nurture 14 children. Imagine what a drain those children will be on the teachers who will have them in their classes one day?! Those kids are going to be a mess to socialize and encourage--it's like they're a bunch of damn pack animals. Poor things. If she really loved those kids, she would see them placed in loving homes with a responsible, reputable adoption organization, not the foster care system--they are too at risk to enter the foster care system (not that any child is equipped for that).

Actually, Bayou Jane, the Australian Government paid for a lot of that promotional trip - but yes, I agree, that the money could been spent i a much better way.
Ocotomom is a curious thing, a bit like a car crash, you don't want to see the icky stuff, but can't help but look.
I pity Nadya. I loathe Oprah. BTW, the octos birthday is today. They were born on my son's birthday.
