I like Ted alot. I hope he doesn't eff this up. This is his shot. He can't blow it. I have not seen him lately. I heard he got into an argument with his daughter and it was all blown up. But there are no doubt issues with him & his family that have yet to be resolved. & he may be better off staying away from them altogether! It may be a toxic relationship for him to be able to stay clean & working. rox
I'm less annoyed by Ted than the orgy of media self-congratulation that attended his "redemption." Hey everybody, we discovered this pitiful filthy homeless guy and gave him a job, even though he grossed us out and is probably a drug addict. We are so awesomely compassionate!
He was on drugs and an alcoholic, on the streets, for a long time. You can't just change that mentality overnight. I'm sure he still has plenty of issues he hasn't resolved. Once his 15 minutes of fame are up he probably won't get any jobs because his issues will outweigh the publicity the company wants.
Not a fan either...sorry. I agree with Alison. I also wonder how the person who had the job at Kraft before they offered it to Ted is feeling right now. I'm sickened by the corporations who use the current feel-good story for their financial gain and PR. Honestly don't get it either, the guy creeps me out and I feel anything but sorry for him.
Television has done a lot of destruction to this culture propping up idiots to be stars. There are plenty of golden voices who are homeless. Television just perverts everything and mindless zombies follow the crowd to believe what others say.
I have no reason to listen to this guy sing whatsoever. Why, just because he's on television?

rox
He touched America's heart. But all he really wanted to do was touch it's crotch and perhaps squeegee its windshield.
He didn't touch my heart. I want to kill him.
I agree with Rox. It might be best if he just stays far away from the past and negative aspects in his life.
He gives me the creeps!
Me too. And I am So over everyone on the planet havin' their 15.
This voice everyone thinks is so golden? Sounds like the creepy guy next door convincing little girls to come over and play. Freaks me out.
