Egyptians have their Internet back, as the country's embattled government leaders have apparently realized that the communications blockade was largely ineffective if not counterproductive.

That's great news for all of you who have cyber buddies in Egypt. As soon as the news was announced the crowds of protesters dispersed and everyone threw down their weapons and ran inside to look at free porn, cute kittens with captions and twitter.

oh yes cute kittens and Twitter. Oh Twitter.. How I miss the 100 or more twits a day of nonsensical one liners. What will I DO??? I received some important life info everyday. Plus the photos. Whom am I going to copy NOW? waaaa :(
glad to see they have the net back. I really haven't been keeping up with whats going on. But it was a shame they lost a form of communication.
am watching "RED"...(Retired-Extremely-Dangerous). Its great. John Malkovich is "crazy"(?) in it, NOT so crazy. He's the guy thats paranoid about cell phones, satellites, internet, voice recognition, etc & "They are trying to kill us!!!"....yea, I think he's onto something. Just Twitter or post a FB something and Blam! They know exactly where, what & who are doing! It's so true and of course, the VP uses the CIA to kill people...DUH!
Hows everybody today? Cold, snowy & WINDY, frozen mounds of sleet and solid ice everywhere & the roads are yet to be driven on around our house. If you get a chance watch "RED"...its a great movie. Old. cool people, just my kind of crowd! xoxo
rox (The Real Me!)
PS: I thot one of my wee dogs blew away last night in this horrible-hurricane wind/sleet storm. I was freaking out. Screaming for him! Hes black so I thot I would see him easily. Last time I saw him he was right in the wind tunnel! I was in my jammies & househoes! He finally showed up right behind me on my front porch as I was screaming for him. I think he was having a good time but I scared him!!! LOL..he got lots of hugs and kisses when we got back inside all snuggly. I will talk to you gals later. I am off work today. Nobody is out on the roads here. Take care all.

John Malkovich is one of the most faascination people in the world. I've spent many days googling him.
rox agreed. I saw Red on Sat it was really good. Bruce looks great in it.
Red = amusing for about 45 minutes and then wow does it get tired. Let's shoot more machine guns! Helen Mirren has had some serious work done around her eyes too (Blu-Ray is not the friend of actors who've had work). Malkovich is funny. Willis does what Willis does. Good one to nod off halfway through.
Your description reminds me of that Simpson's episode where they lost tv and everyone started playing outside again.
I saw RED last night. It's always interesting to watch Malcovich. So much so I forget to watch the movie sometimes. After I saw "Being John Malcovich" I thought that while he takes his craft seriously he must not take himself too seriously and I like that combination.
the only malkovich movie i saw was, shit...can't remember the exact title of the movie....shadow of the vampire?? it was a movie about nosferatu and since i'm a silent movie fiend i thought i would try to watch it, figuring i wouldn't like it....i really liked it....very creative premise for a movie and well acted....
I'm glad that internet has been returned to Egypt but I fear the day is closer when our own government will do the exact same thing to us. This whole situation was appalling.
I loved him in Dangerous Liasions (sp?).
watch "Secretariat"...John Malkovich is very good in it. He's so quirky and odd and intelligent and interesting. He makes a great musketeer as well! I can say he never disappoints me. I love him to death. In fact, as soon as he appears onscreen, any movie is instantly way better. Crabbie, is wrong, IMHO, RED is very good and kept my attn. and looks like they left it wide open for a sequel.
