I liked all of it and I really liked Helix!
HELIX is my fav as well. The words are fab. My son did all the music, Dustin, the vocalist, wrote most of the words to the songs. Helix should be in a kewl vampire movie soundtrack. I love it too. Meissa, get it and see how you like dancing & moving to it. I liste to it over & over. He's my kid, but I just like it, alot. You guys are so nice.

OK, Super Bowl/Forrest Gump switcheroo. I just may have to get the FG sountrack. Its amazing. I have seen this movie so many times and the music is such a part of the movie. Its music i know, inside me, from my youth. Its important music. Fantastic soundtrack. Just had to say that. Now back to see who's winning.

You have a VERY talented son! I listened to Helix and had to buy it on the spot! I looked for a way to buy the other songs on the referral link and couldn't find them... :( Can you tell me how to buy their album? I LOVE them---my 22-year-old son and I listen to lots of the same music and we are always looking for new bands to add to our mix; I played Helix for him and he loved it too. Had me put it on his iPhone right then. One day this band will be HUGE!
I have the FG soundtrack. It's like a musical journal or diary from that time period. It makes you feel nostalgic in a good way. When you hear a song, even if it isn't one you love, you can picture yourself back in the time when it played on the radio. The same way certain smells bring back memories.
Gordon Lightfoot music does that to me except it makes me feel sad and nostalgic. I like his work but it makes me feel like the sun just clouded over and the rain has begun and you have a feeling it's never going to stop.
Gordon Lightfoot? "Oh very young, what will you leave us this time"?
Oh, whoops, thats Cat Stevens. Gordon is "If you could read my mind girl..." Good songs girl!!! He is kind of a wet blanket but sometimes that what we feel. Did he die??? :(

Thanks so much for listening. I am glad you liked it. I listen to "Helix" alot! Its my absolute fav. Where do you live? They are playing in Chicago again next week. You should go!!! Its at a bar owned by Marilyn Mansons guitar player, he personally invited them to play. They are really excited to get the opportunity. The club/bar is called "Blackhearts". I think there is a link at the Reverbnation site for them about how to buy their merch. If not, let me know and I will have him get a CD out to you. They are getting radio play in Indy now too. It IS exciting. He's been at it a while. Now I am gonna go listen to Helix! LOL!!! Don't you think it sounds like a cool vampire movie song? gawd, its alot like Queen Of The Damned, that song anyway. Dustin(lead singer) just told me that you get a better deal on iTunes, the entire album is one price as opposed to paying $1 per song. Reverbnation has a link tho, let me know what works for you. I may need to tell them.

Sadly I live down in Louisiana, but I'm going on iTunes now to buy the album. I agree, it sounds like Queen of the Damned--that's the exact thing I said to my son before I played Helix for him! Great minds, huh? :)
