I don't think polygamy is a bad thing. I think it makes sense for some people. You'd always have someone to confide in, someone to have your back and the security of knowing someone would love your kids if something happened to you. What I do find repulsive is that any of these women would sleep with that male chauvinist super pig that is Kody. I wouldn't give that floppy haired mother fucker the time of day, let alone two nights a week. Those gals would be better off if they killed him for the insurance money and started their own Amazon cult. I recommend poisonous mushrooms in a tater tot casserole. I'll bet he has a dick like a tater tot anyway. He makes me want to throw up in his smug face.

Sister Wives..my opinion
I don't think polygamy is a bad thing. I think it makes sense for some people. Seems like the wives could do it without him....They seem to like each other, and it seems to work for them....HOWEVER...being in Utah, I know that many times, the "wives" are still children, and they do not have any say in choosing this lifestyle, it is chosen for them.

I agree. If consenting adults choose this lifestyle and no one is getting hurt, the government should not butt in. The kids seem happy and well adjusted and I like all the wives. It's their choice. On the other hand, he is creepy and it pisses me off that he drives a 2 seater sports car and goes on all kinds of vacations!
I'm for the Amazon colony FOR SURE! That guy is one pompous ass. Is he supposed to be "in charge" of the family? Do the wives support HIM?
I live in Utah...and I think they are moving. One of them was fired from her job shortly after the show aired. I don't watch the show...they are only doing it for the money.
I wanted to watch that show and I haven't seen it yet. I mean, to each his own, but I don't think I could share my husband like that.

The lifestyle wouldn't work for me(too jealous), but it sure seems tempting. I've always said that I would love to have a wife, for obvious reasons, like doing the housework, cooking, child care. These girl each have 3 and they seem to get along really well. The new, younger one lives by herself with her children, but I think he likes it that way because they can fool around more and not have the less attractive wives know about it.
He is a world-class douche. Where his energy comes from is what I'd like to know.

I live in Utah too, and most of the polygamist women are...ummm...not at all pretty. Maybe it's because most can't wear make-up or color their hair as it goes grey, and have to wear severe hairstyles and ducky clothes. I wouldn't look too hot either if I had to look that way. But they are very nice people thinking that they have to live like that to get to heaven...which is silly.
This "family" isn't the norm. His hair is way too long, and the men often wear long sleeve plaid shirts. This bunch is obviously more progressive. Why they want to be on tv is beyond me.
