I'm stuffing plastic eggs ahead of time instead of having to do it at the last minute. But, the damn Smarties won't fit in the egg. I know, I'll eat part of the package and re-twist it and cut off the end. Uhh oh, I ate too many. I may as well finish this one. Ooops, it happened again. Oooops and again. Damn Smarties. I am eyeing the Safety Pops I bought for Gabe now. What in the hell is wrong with me today??

Damn Smarties
I'm stuffing plastic eggs ahead of time instead of having to do it at the last minute. But, the damn Smarties won't fit in the egg. I know, I'll eat part of the package and re-twist it and cut off the end. Uhh oh, I ate too many. I may as well finish this one. Ooops, it happened again. Oooops and again. Damn Smarties. I am eyeing the Safety Pops I bought for Gabe now. What in the hell is wrong with me today??

In Canada, Smarties are an M&M type candy and Rockets are Smarties.
I love Rockets/Smarties so I wish I was there to 'help'.
I was looking at that picture thinking the same thing as Frimmy: those aren't Smarties, they're Rockets! They must be mislabled, ha ha.
I bought a big bag of Rockets after last Halloween, but only because my kids like them...'cept they never did get any because I ate them all myself.
Canadian Smarties are nothing like M&M's, they're way better lol!
My kids are getting Kinder Eggs, I don't have to stuff anything in the egg: it's already stuffed :) .
Yeah I like the Canadian smarties better than M&M's but I'm not a chocolate lover. They seem more milk chocolatey than the M&M darker chocolate.
They sure are tasty. (I don't like chocolate.) I stuffed 50 eggs. I think I need more. Lissa doesn't care if they only have a penny in them, she loves the hunting. I hope it's nice, we've haven't been able to do it outside since she was tiny.
I have to go look up Kinder eggs.
Kinder eggs are illegal in the states. Apperently you can't sell candy with toys inside of it because kids might eat the toy and choke on it. I will find the article where a lady had to give up her kinder eggs at the boarder or face a huge fine.
Ohh and I like smarties much better that m&m's as well.

one of our grocery stores sells some foreign chocolate---from the UK....i like yorkie bars!
I have so many tiny kinder toys from when my son was training. That's what I rewarded him with. I thought the toy + candy was a compromise. By that time I was desperate for anything that worked to motivate him but that's OT. Point is, those toys are the coolest! A lot you have to put together and it's amazing how quickly a kid figures it out. Kinda sad they're banned in the US.
Loved Kinder Surprise when I was a kid. You are able to find chocolate bars made of the same chocolate but not in the original egg form. I did not know they had been "banned" from the US because of choke risk! I could have sworn I had seen some here in Portland, I think at the World Market store. Guess not... Love the chocolate Smarties too - they used to come in a cylinder tube - do they still come that way?
lol thats avas fav candy ever. But now she doesn't get ANYTHING.. from me until she goes potty on the pot. But her grandparents give it to her. UGH..
lucky me Ive been done with Easter for almost a month. This time I planned ahead and got it done in time. Even though The kids father hates easter. He calls it zombie jesus day.
Thats odd about kinder eggs. I got a few for Ava at the store. Maybe they are just mock offs.. ah

I'm in the minority because I love M&M's more than Smarties (the Canadian kind)! But I love ALL chocolate really! I don't like sweets or candy...just chocolate. The darker the better. 80% cocoa chocolate bars are sooo good.
I ate Smarties to help me quit smoking. Now I need something to help me quit eating Smarties. I love those things.

love smarties, my son loves smarties, I find them under the sofa, down the back of chairs at the bottom of my handbag. Sad they lost the plastic lid cause they used to have a letter of the alphabet on & as kids we would try to collect all the letter that spelt out our names.
Pat you are a great nan, I don't think I would have the patience to stuff 50 plastic egss. Lis will have a fab hunt.

I can't find my favorite Easter candy. They are eggs that come individually wrapped . They're a hard colored outer shell with white sugar inside. I looked in a few stores . I really need them.really.
