Fertility spell

I've been thinking about it and if I was trying to get pregnant, here is what I would do. Set a clean clear container of purified water in the moonlight and leave it overnight. (Tonight is great, in fact, this whole week is great for this.) Get it at the first light of day. That night, take a ritual bath with whatever oils or soaps you like and after you are clean and hair washed, take the container of Moon water you made and pour it over yourself..from head to feet..and think about opening your self up to conception. Concentrate.

Make an alter, preferably outside, but, inside is okay too, the alter should be covered with a bright Spring cloth. Place items symbolizing fertility on the alter, these should include a rabbit statue, a chalice, an egg with the Goddess symbol on it, an apple, a sprig of Rosemary, and three candles. The candles should be pink, blue and white. You could use stones like Quartz and Amethyst if you have them. You should also have incense (pine or cedar is best for this one), and some scented oil.

Call up your circle, deosil, and put it around you and the alter. Make sure you have fire. It can be in a bowl or a campfire or even a fireplace. Light some incense. Light the candles. Now you would just sit in there, or stand, and look into the fire and concentrate on your goal. Relax. Say.."I am ready for my child. I am ready to carry my child. I am ready to love and care for my child. Send me my child."

Take the oil and make a deosil spiral on your own stomach (like in the Goddess drawing) and keep talking about your child. Direct the energy around you to your midsection. Concentrate. Keep repeating the words. Then take the Goddess egg and hold it to your stomach and say, "My mind is open to you, my child. My body is open to you, my child. By Earth, by Fire, by Air, by Sea..into my arms you will be." (Fold your arms into a cradling position.) Spend some time picturing your baby and what your baby feels like in your arms.

When I thought I had done it enough and felt good about it I would stop, close the circle, widdershins, and put out the fire. Leave the candles to burn themselves out. You mustn't use them again anyway. Then I would keep the egg in my bedroom, near a window, until the next full Moon or waxing Moon and I would bury it, in the dark, under a Willow tree. If you don't have a Willow, bury it in a garden or somewhere flowers grow. When you bury it say, "I am ready to carry my child. Send me my child. Three by three, so mote it be." It would be nice to plant some seeds on top of it. Even grass seed would be good.

Remember, the ritual is not the magic, you are the magic. Ritual and tools and symbolic things put you in the right mood and help you to direct the energy to achive your goal.
