Hmm. I'm thinkin' plain canvas shoes from the dollar store, found buttons and a couple of bored nights. Many variations in my head. Of course I'm trying not to think of the other things I already have covered in buttons that I don't wear. Maybe I should cover my desk chair instead.
Maybe I should clean my house or read a book. Fuck it, buttons are more fun.

I wonder how heavy they would be with all those buttons?
DD.. Don't cover your chair in buttons. Your ass would be in agony in minutes. It would be like kneeling on rice..
I think it might be like those wodden bead covers. I have one in the car and it's awesome. It used to be on this chair, but, it kept slipping.
you can make really cute bracelets with old buttons, and i think they are cute with many different sizes and colors...Im not talking about these little cheepie buttons, but the cool old ones that have shape and texture....i have a couple of these bracelets and would send you a pic if you are interested....

I notice that all the buttons are the same size. That is challenging. I think buttons and beads and things mix it up a bit.
DD...could you show us the pics of snowbunnie's bracelets if she sends them? That sounds interesting!
DD (or anyone interested in this subject) you should go to carboncouture.blogspot.com...it's a little DIY style website you might like. The girl makes her own versions of designer clothes. Some of it is butt ugly, but some of it really cute. She doesn't seem to be updating anymore but the archives are interesting.
I'd be happy to post pics of anyone's creative efforts!
Speaking of pics, did you get the ones I sent of my little love bug?
DD you should make a garden piece with all the buttons. That would be neat.
That reminds me of the designer capris I saw at the mall. They had a cuff and clear beads dangling off of them...and I had to have them. They were almost $200...so I took a pic of them and got the almost identical capris at walmart for $14 and the beads for $6 and my sister and I drank wine and sewed them on. It took us a long time, but it was fun and worth it!
