Rest In Peace, Beth of Seville

A long time poster on this blog, Beth of Seville, has passed away. Beth was a sweet caring person and we will all miss her. My heart goes out to her family now. Rest in peace, Beth of Seville.

If anyone wants to send a card/note to her mom (she lives in the US) and/or her family in Spain....please send them to me and i will send them to them....just let me know you're sending something--via FB, email, etc....so i know what to expect and know when i can mail 'em out....

if you get a card/note for both, i would suggest you just put both of 'em in another envelope addressed to me and i'll open the envelope and can put them in the respective envelope---to her mom or her family....just write on the inner envelopes---Beth's Mom, Beth's family or something like that....

Rest in peace, sweet Beth. I'll drink a glass of white wine in your honor tonight, hoping that you will be joining me from wherever you are.

I hope she has found the peace she deserves and is indeed having a glass of her favorite wine.

I'd like to say how greatful I am that we have a network of friends here who can keep track of each other and band together when these things happen.

What time shall we toast to Beth?

miss tia said...

i know we're all on different time zones, some have kids, etc.....

how about 11pm EST, which would be 10pm CST and 8pm on the west coast....?

even if you are at work (i believe someone will still be at work then) let's all take a moment at that time and say "Cheers Beth, we love you"....

Dirty Disher said...

Sounds good to me. I think she would like that.

miss tia said...

i think she would too...

alcoholic beverage or not, cheers to beth at 11pm EST!

I snagged a picture of Beth before her family took down her FB wall. It's a pretty good one. It's up on my blog if you want it, Pat.

And count me in for the drink tonight. That's a lovely idea,Elisa. I think Beth would like that.

I am so sorry.
Beth seemed so sweet.
Such a strange feeling to miss
someone you've never met.
Such a strong community of beautiful
women you all are.
My glass will be raised at 10 pm central.
Peace to you, Beth.

Thank you Tonya.

A-Gran said...

CJ, he's really good! I'll bet Beth was proud of him.

CJ said...

Tonya, did you watch his other videos? He has several on there. My son was a skater from about the age of 8/9, but he was never That Good.
Hope her boys will be ok.

A-Gran said...

No, I just watched the one. Skateboarding isn't terribly interesting to me, I just wanted to see what her son looked like. Poor kid, I hope he's okay.

I too will miss Beth and her wit. I will also raise a glass here in California at 8pm to toast her life, her memory and the others on this blog that often bring a smile to my face or a little brightness to what can sometimes seem like a crappy existence.

Not to take away from the loss of Beth or the camaraderie that is felt here but not everyone that posts or comments here is female. So it's not just a great group of ladies but a group of cyber friends.

So sad to hear this! I knew she wasn't doing well and had warned us about this, but it still breaks my heart. She always had such great stories and was so sweet. May she rest in peace. We'll sure miss her!

Beth would have been 46 today....she had no fear of death and I remember she had had a dream once of her grandfather telling her it was okay to join him and she felt comfort from that.....

I truly believe she is at peace and is with her grandfather....may they join us in our toast in a few minutes...

no more health problems and she is free....

cheers Beth, you are loved! ♥

I raise my glass to you, dear Beth. You are missed by many. If there is an afterlife, I hope you have found peace and good health.

Melissa said...

Cheers, Beth. You will be missed but I am hoping that you are now free of pain and enjoying a glass alongside your grandfather.

I must be living under a rock.

I noticed that Beth was no longer on my facebook but I thought maybe she had just deleted her account. I had no idea. Finding out right now broke my heart. She was always so kind and thoughtful. May she rest in peace.
