Starbucks, change the world?
I kept seeing this ad on Hulu last night and it irritated me so much I looked it up. Yeah, you can change the world by re-using a travel mug. (GIANT eye roll) But, to make this ad, how many paper cups did Starbucks waste? On temporary questionable art. Starbucks, this is just another example of "do as I say, not as I do" mentality. It's like those fucking celebrities who tell us we're wasting resources while they air condition all 7 wings of the fancy ass mansion they live in alone and heat their Olympic sized pools. While they're really off flying somewhere in their private jet. It makes my ass tired. Fuck you, Starbucks..you aint shit. What kind of moron came up with this crap?

When we had fox films staying with us. All the Movie people were telling us to get rid of all the styrofoam products we use and go green. To use biodegradable paper products. Or use reg cups dishes and etc.
Nor matter how you put it. Any way shape or form. Your either going to use to much water, put to much poison in the earth and etc. People will never be satisfied
Oh and Starbucks. Anyone will get a freaking mug just to get free coffee. Its free.
I'm far from a germaphobe, but my first thought was, okay, bring all those reusable mugs in ... how sanitary are they? How many have been rolling around the floor in someone's car in all the residue from your shoes? Go ahead and stick 'em up on the counter in the store.
Might thin out the herd of humans. Yay, trees.
I have been the owner of a Starbucks travel mug for 3.5 years. I've never used it because I don't like Starbucks. My Bro sent it for Christmas '07. He got it at a SB store in Thailand.. the 100th store opened there. Looks like a cheap plastic mug. Cost 420 Thai Baht (that's $14 USD to you & me). Just checked... Made In China.

i hate starbucks...i know peoples disagree with me about that, and that is fine...but fuck starbucks!
Oh, I absolutely ADORE Starbucks. Don't know how much good they're doing here. I can read up on it if anyone is curious.
