We made this last night. Lissa drew the face with markers on a milk jug. There's a hole in the back of the jug where a battery light goes. I nailed the jug to a fence post and we draped a curtain over it. He's holding light sticks on his coat hanger arms. Lissa says his name is Blackie and he's going to scare the pee out of people. I have to get him a pumpkin to sit out there with him, but, not yet, because he's way out on the South end near the street..where all the neighborhood punks walk. I have extra supplies in case Blackie disappears. I want to put a sign out there that says "DORK SIDED". I wonder if anyone would get it?

It could be a lot spookier, but, this was her project. It only took about 15 minutes (after supply gathering.) You could really spook it out if you wanted to.

She's on the tall side. No baby fat anymore. Tall and slim, but, eats like a lumber jack. Sigh.

Well, the goal is to get her and her brother back with their mother. I just want them to be safe and have an ordinary life. I've always had her part of the time and I don't want that to ever change.

Lissa is so lucky! My gram always had some awesome art projects to do when I visited her too. She will remember these times forever. Remember how you took the time to teach her these things!

That's very cool! I don't have any imagination, we have to copy things we see online. We made this one year: http://kyliesmomramblings.blogspot.com/2008/10/meet-owen-d.html with some of my son's clothes, maybe Lissa could use some of her own outgrown clothes to make him, if she has some around...or her little brother's stuff.
