It costs about $20 bucks to take a truckload to the landfill here, so our skanky (er) relatives are saving a bundle by bringing their trash here. I went and looked at her enclosed front porch (which is pretty big, it even has a bathroom in there) and it was filled up with trash. None of it is sellable. Dirty smelly stained clothes, piles and piles of giant crusty stuffed animals, THREE tv sets that don't have cable hook up, broken plastic toys, a cabinet sewing machine (not the cool kind, the ugly blond crap), AM radios, dog earred paperbacks only an autistic person might like, worn out smelly out of style shoes, cracked dishes, plastic chicken key holders, plastic chicken lamps, filthy blackened potholders, pee stained sheets, broken aquariums ...getting a picture? It's all trash.
In my head I was seeing money fly out the window. I figure they brought at least $80 dollars worth of trash. That's what it will cost to haul it off. And it will be hauled off. It smells bad and no one will buy any of it. BUT, it's keeping her occupied for awhile. She's so dumb, she can't wait to see what else they'll bring. It looks like they're cleaning out their garage and burn pile. I'll take pics if you don't believe me..it's seriously bad. And stinky. The old lady is so fucking crazy. These asshole relative know she's senile and dumb and they're totally taking advantage of it. They have a big surprise waiting for them someday. Oh, yes, they do. ~smiles~

I think my head would explode. I don't know how you do it DD.
I got kind of sick yesterday from it all, but, I'm okay now. The thing with these people is..they think they're going to own her property someday. They even talk about when they'll move to town. Hmm..I guess they've never seen the deed and my mother thing has fogotten about the deed. It makes me smile. Because I can only be fooled once. There is no chance of it happening again.
Karma is a good thing. It will happen someday in the future.
You have my sympathy for when the day comes to clean out that house. I had that job with my parent's house. It took months and months. The brothers (who didn't live around here & couldn't/ wouldn't help) wanted to just trash everything, but I insisted on going thru every pile. Guess who found over $18,000 in cash hidden in several closets. Those same brothers wanted a share. I put it in Mother's checking account to pay her nursing home expenses.
18 grand! Holy cow. Fuck HER bills, I'da kept it. I've learned to be very careful around this family because I know they will hurt me. I always have an eye on all of them. It's exhausting, but, I have to be constantly aware.
Thought about keeping it, but at that time it was costing over $2500/mo to keep her in the home. What pissed me off was the oldest Bro (who was worth millions at the time) wanted part of the money, then he accused me of keeping it. Asshole. Several years earlier (after I got POA on her) I found out that our impoverished mother had stuffed thousands in the bank. I shifted part of it out of her name (to be used for her expenses only IF needed)... but would go directly to us upon her death. Yeah, the older Bro never thanked me for that! ...and I did pay myself for travel & time for working at her house... it was the 'least' I could do.
Amazing who/what comes out of the woodwork when you're dealing with money & estates. I might write a tell all book someday.
BTW, I have a prediction. One of our trolls is going to reveal their own identity soon. Watch.
DD...if I send you some money, could you scoop up that chicken lamp for me. I need to start my Xmas shopping early and there's a certain exboss I'd love to send that to!!!!
Send me your addy and it is yours.
Wait, do you want a pic first? I can do that. I think it's supposed to look like a weathervane. It looks more like a varacoise vien to me.
Do those relatives read or know about your blog? Does your mom know about your blog?
They're all so stupid they think computers are evil machines for space age scientists. They get the news from the National Enquirer.
I dated a guy so dumb once that he insisted that all the shit printed in the Weekly World News was real. Yes, he believed ALL OF IT! "They couldn't print it if it wasn't true!" Fuckin' moron thought the Enquirer was a newspaper.
He was Bat Boy, wasn't he?
I thought it was made out of one of those rubber chickens.
Your last comment made me think of your aunt THE AUTHOR! Is she still writing best sellers? hehehe
No, not since they're making a movie of her book. (excuse me while I puke.)
I'm curious about your prediction. Any details you'd like to share, DD?
They're making a movie out of her book?! Will make sure to add it to my Netflix queue ;).
You will have the last laugh, DD. I'm sorry you have to put up with all this shit until you get there though. Are you going to make a bonfire and burn it all? Wish I were there to help - you have enough on your hands without your motherthing's insanity creeping up again.
I'll rent dumpsters like I did when I moved here. They are $180 dollars each. I ate Ramen for two months, but, it was worth it.
how many dumpsters will you need for all that shit?
I'll never know until it's time. She's been hoarding all her life. There are rooms I've never been in and you probably can't get in.
